"Sample of green tarmac paint"

We thought the cost of the sample was somewhat high at first, but then, when we appreciated that the item was delivered next day by courier, it seemed quite reasonable! The paint itself was sufficient to give an example of the finish and colour, and it certainly seemed to achieve what it claimed to achieve. It is just really a question of our deciding if it is the colour for our requirements. The packet also included a small brush to use with the paint and this was a very useful and convenient addition.

Delivery on time but that was the only good thing. Paint doesn’t match previous identical purchase. Paint full of sizeable clumps of solids that remain even after vigorous mixing. Fine solid residue left on wall after application.

Having received a response from PaintOutlet promising a resolution there was further disappointment when the customer service telephone line goes through to an answer machine. Tried calling four times. Left a message to call me but no call back after 4 days (admittedly 2 of them over the weekend). I’ll wait a couple more days and then change review to no stars if no further contact.

Update: PaintOutlet have been very helpful in trying to resolve these issues for us. We are still left with considerable extra work to do but I don’t think PaintOutlet could have done more to assist. I have added a couple of stars taking this into account.
