my stay was catastrophic because of the rental of campervan at rent is (go iceland) a camper van which did not meet our expectations, very very dirty! there was no rear view mirror which is very dangerous! the heating did not work well, the petrol was not full on the outward journey but on the return we were sent to fill up! the staff were mean and rude. I don't recommend at all ! run away !

We had a great time driving around with the camper we got from Rent.is. Good grip on the winter tire, comfy space both for the combi bed and dinner table. Didn’t had a problem with the isolation as we had warm sleeping bags and the built in heater. The only minus was the WiFi stopped working the last day from the morning when we still had the van until afternoon. But in general I wouldn’t hesitate renting from Rent.is again the next time we visit Iceland! Thanks!

We made the ring road on october and rent the VW 4X4 for 2 with rent.is, everything was amazing, the van was in pretty good condition, the engine run perfectly and the interior was great! The guys at the front desk were really kind and clear with the paperwork, they pick us up on time at the airport so wothout a doubt I´ll recommend Rent.is!

"Best way to discover Iceland"

We rented a camper van with Rent.is for two people for 6 days in Iceland. It was a small one but was amazingly well equipped, with everything you need to cook and eat, and with a heater working on a second battery, which was great for the cold nights. We chose the premium insurance to be able to pay with a debit card instead of a credit card. They picked us up on the airport and drove us to the offices where we picked up our van, starting our roadtrip through the ring road right away - we returned it at the same place before our return flight.
The roadtrip through Iceland was an amazing experience, and I recommend 100% doing it by renting a van - the best way to discover Iceland!

I rented a campervan for the first time in Iceland and by myself. The service and employees at Rent.is were incredibly helpful and understood the needs of travelers. I flew in from the West Coast of the USA and was not in a condition to drive upon renting the vehicle so they allowed me to rest until I could drive. Everything was included in the rental and when there was a problem (ie with the wifi or camper stove) there is a 24 hour call in number or email. They were very receptive to help make my trip comfortable and also allowed me to pay in Euros and my currency. Thank you so much, I would rent again and recommend them in the future.

Excellent service and vehicle. Collection and drop off at the airport was very good. VW 4x4 excellent for the trip up north we had planned. Handing over and collection of camper was painless, informative. Excellent service all round thank you.
