"From beginning to end"

From beginning to end, I had a wonderful learning experience with Proofread Anywhere. The course was well thought out, and comprehensive. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to pursue a career as a proofreader.

"Don't do it!"

This course was a huge disappointment and waste of money. I completed the course and passed the exam a year ago. Despite my diligence I haven't been able to find any work related to proofreading and editing. I've lost jobs to other less qualified people because no one cares that I have a certification, they're looking for a bargain. Don't even get me started on the Facebook group. If I wanted drama like that I would go back to high school. Overall, I highly regret my decision to take this course and I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money.

Also the company offered me a $10 Starbucks gift card for a review, if I had a "positive experience."

"Overpriced, too much drama"

I completed the course and passed the exam, but overall, I don't think this was worth the cost of the course. There are other, more widely recognized courses out there, like the CIEP's proofreading suite. Additionally, there was a whole lot of drama in the Facebook community that soured the experience for me.

The course content itself, and the exercises, were relatively good (though there were several errors in the answer keys), but not worth the price.

Additionally, the company offered me a $10 Starbucks gift card as incentive for this review, which violates the Trustpilot rules.

It took me several months to finally jump in and invest in the course. If you have a knack for grammar and find errors everywhere you go, this is a great way to get started in the freelancing world.

The best part about completing Proofread Anywhere is the potential I was able to see in myself and discovering the endless opportunities available to make money by offering my skills (which have grown beyond only proofreading services).

This isn’t some magic pill, quick-fix scheme. If you aren’t willing to dedicate time into the lessons, or willing to get outside of your comfort zone, it may not be the best fit for you. Caitlin is very clear that she is not hand-holding you through the process. She provides the methods and resources for you to be in control of building the future that fits for you.

If you are willing to put in the work, time, and effort, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking for a quick and easy certificate, this is not it. It’s tough and informative. It has a high standard for passing and gives you the training and tools to meet that standard. If you already have a knack for grammar and want to hone your skills, this is the course for you!

When I came across Proofread Anywhere advertisement, I got convinced that it is the right choice to choose for my career, not merely to work from home but to give myself a thorough knowledge of right usage of grammar and words and build my career through writing and proofreading. It not only fulfilled my desire but showed me who I am and how much of myself I really didn't know for so many years of my life. It gave me guidelines as to how to research and find out the thorough ins and outs of the business sphere. It gave me clear cut guidelines as to how to proofread with lots of exercises and also provided lot of other resources to be used when starting a business for proofreading. Of course, it requires hardwork from my side to really build up my business; the resources Caitlin provides everyday through her blogs and social media still instills confidence in me and other people that they are never alone in their quest to build up their career to work from home. Caitlin, you are a blessing to us all. God is with you and will definitely take you to greater heights than these.
