"Excellent service @ Lakeside store"
I visited the Lakeside Shopping Centre store yesterday and today, and was assisted by an employee named Alexei.
He went above and beyond to help me find a t-shirt design I saw a few months back, but which they no longer had in store. He checked the stock room, any pictures he had saved in his phone or in chats, and let me know where I could possibly find it elsewhere; overall was very helpful. He even helped me when I couldn't scan the 15% off QR code by the tills and let me sign up using his phone when mine didn't work.
Honestly one of the best customer service experiences I've had, I ended up going back to the store today and buying a different design regardless, as I wanted to support the store rather than buy online. I hope this feedback is passed on to him and that he knows I'm very grateful!

"Absolutely disgusting behaviour"
Absolutely disgusting behaviour by this company. I've had to file an escalation and refund request through Paypal. They really should be ashamed. They've stolen money from me after I've returned goods. Sent back £100 worth of clothing that didn't fit (2 x cargo pants) I've included all paperwork, tags and original packaging yet they refuse to give me my money back. I've sent them a number of emails where they don't even bother responding. They purposely don't provide a telephone number on the website so I had to contact PayPal to get it. When I called them, a very uninterested woman told me they won't be refunding my money because one of the tags had the string missing!!! Not the tag itself but the string that they loop around the label to attached it!!! In no world does this give them grounds for a refund refusal. The tag remains intact just needs them to loop a string thru it again. I didn't even open the other cargos at all as obvs I knew they don't fit. I checked my rights and now I've had to escalate this with PayPal and trading standards as this goes against consumer rights act. I will get my money back thru them but everyone needs to be very aware of how these amateurs deal with refunds. Please ensure you know what you're in for if you have to return goods.
I said to the customer service women 'do you think this is an acceptable level of service?' and they just keep repeating I have removed the tag (like a robot! 🤣) I think the owner of the company has drilled them so they seem unhuman lol. Poor lady. Anyway I asked for the manager to call me back but obviously had nothing back and they screen my calls too! Very unprofessional! This has to be the shadiest company I've ever dealt with in UK. I can't comprehend how they think this kind of behaviour will do them any good and they will have problems with the merchants going forward too. I guess that's how you earn a 3 star average on Trusted Pilot.
Don't assume these people are actually the designers, I realise they are in fact just like an amateur market trader selling 883 police clothing. It appears this company is actually called Zabou and just acts on behalf of 883 Police clothing.
I enjoyed writing this and letting people know my experience so it doesn't happen to you. I hope this stops lots of business for Zabou and stops lots of customers from getting shafted. How dare you treat customers like this.

"Worst customer experience ever"
Worst customer experience ever! I bought an expensive winter jacket from their store in York and after only wearing it a handful of times, the jacket ripped from near the top of the arm. The entire down material started to come off. I emailed police several times but with no luck .they asked me to send pictures of the damaged jacket which I promptly did, but it’s been a week now and no one is responding to my emails. They are blankly ignoring
Me and I’m left with a faulty winter jacket that I can no longer wear. Please don’t waste your time and money buying any Police items.

I m really disppointed from the tailoring of this brand .. when i bought a jacket and cargo trousers it looks nice perfect ,but after i wear it 1 time it ripped it never happend to me in my life .. now my jacket is ripped in 4 places in the back .. i bought it 160 pound .. and the cargo tousers i bought it 60 pound i guess.. i dont recommand this brand .. i m sorry to say this but its the fact .. i save monet for buying a nice coat and it ripped its really bad for me

I Visited the Lakeside Thurrock store with my wife on January 3rd, 2024, as I was looking for some new jeans.
We entered the store and immediately greeted with a friendly smile and a “let me know if you need any help” - SIMPLY BRILLIANT ATTITUDE.
I couldn’t find any in my size so asked the lady if she could help me find some “in fat bloke, short leg size” she then went to town assisting me and was charming throughout.
I work on the management side of retail myself and this young lady was 12/10.
The jeans I bought are great and I will 100% return to buy more after this experience.
Thank you and keep up the good work - ps. Note to management she deserves a bonus/pay rise.

Worst online store.payed for an item they put wrong address on label the courier phoned me and said they have put wrong post code .so I email police about this and they have said I need to phone ups to sort it out when it’s there fault.do not buy form them as they won’t sort out there problem .what a wast ov time PLEASE BE AWARE…
