Our dog was about four month old and was incredibly fearful of any adult so we gave Julie a call for help. The patience and kindness she showed was above and beyond. She was very willing to help and encourage us even when we were doubting our decision to bring home a new dog.

What sets ATG apart from the other numerous trainers is the personalized experience. One of our dogs has pretty severe anxiety (she's a rescue) and afraid to go outside at times. What I really loved about ATG is that Julie came to our house for all of our sessions so my dog could work in her familiar environment without the distraction of other dogs/people. Julie gave a weekly plan of activities for us to work on, tailored just for my dog. Julie was extremely patient while working with my dog and over time it was heart-warming to see my dog's progress over the weeks. I plan to continue having Julie work with my dog as I know it's not a "quick fix" but a gradual progression. I would recommend ATG to anyone wanting a personal, customized and successful training experience. Thank you Julie!!!

I would highly recommend Julie and ATG for dog training! Julie worked with us and our 1 year old puppy, Nala, and she not only was so kind, flexible, but she is so incredibly knowledgeable too! We walked away from our once a week trainings with "homework" that was helpful, yet simple to do and fun for us and Nala. We had a few goals in mind for training and we didn't reach all of them, but we did walk away with a dog that has a now amazing recall, does her commands, does better walking on the leash, and have the tools we need to ensure we reach our goals! "Positive approach to training"

I love how ATG takes the positive approach to training so that you don’t end up with a fearful or aggressive dog. After each training session, Julie sent an email that recapped what we worked on and handouts that went over each of the training “games” that we learned so that we could correctly work on them during the week. Any questions or issues we were having, she offered solutions. We loved working with Julie and can’t wait to take the next level of training.
