I ordered some specialty cables from DM, which I need urgently to replace a broken cable on my rig. The product was in stock, and I entered all details through the checkout process including address and country; I was offered shipping options, including free shipping, which seemed reasonable considering it was a couple of cables for a large amount of Euros so I accepted it.

My order was fully accepted and payment made in full and taken from my card. Later, DM sent me a curt email saying that the order didn't qualify for the free shipping that they offered me, and the transaction was flagged by some automated system as risky (despite already fully charged and using the same details I have used for many other purchases elsewhere), and cancelled the order.

I responded to them three times by email asking for an explanation and to try and seek alternative options to get my hands on the product, and received no response until after this review was posted, at which point I received a cancellation and refund notice.

This review was revised following DM's response below. I'll take their word that they did try to respond and it was lost in transit, as a thorough review of my inbox and junk folders show that I did not recieve anything between the initial first email 20th April and the eventual refund notice 5th May. I did receive the refund, 3 weeks after my order was accepted and paid to DM.
