so i got notification to move on short notice, 10 am,
- called a friend and he recommended Easy Truck,
- called them at 10.15, heard an expat voice, (thought to myself this will be pricey)
- he listened to my request, acknowledged it, and said he will quote me instantly, (i held my breath for the price), turns out it will not cost me an arm and a leg!! was happy with the reasonable quote.
- received email which i digitally signed.
- truck arrived at before midday as promised.
- staff came in, professionally
- super fast, packed all my items (18 boxes in total)
- back in the office now before 2 pm!

They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for! So if you want cheap go rent a man and a truck and you will end up doing most of the work. "Worst move ever"

We have moved 4 times within Dubai and multiple times abroad, and this was my worst move ever, by far. We paid 5,500 AED to be moved- packed and unpacked- and I was left with 12 boxes unpacked. The ones they did unpack were misplaced (my living room accessories were in my night stand in my bedroom type of misplaced). Our bed wasn't even assembled completely.

The men arrived smelling absolutely horrible and were so unprofessional. Their whole vibe was that they didn't want to be there and couldn't be bothered. They were huffing and puffing when I asked them to place things in certain areas, as they unpacked furniture and just put it where they saw fit.

The second day of the move was during Ramadan and they were SO slow. The team leader told me they were only working until 2 pm and it was noon and they hadn't even arrived at the second house to unpack. When I commented on their slowness, he told me they were fasting. As a person that fasts and is Muslim, that's kind of between you and your employer and not my problem, as I am paying for a service. They were just so rude and standoffish.

When you pay that amount of money, you're paying for a smooth move where all your items are unpacked and the movers are professional. No such things. Don't waste your money with easy truck, e movers charges the same amount and is MUCH more efficient.
