"I gave this company a 3-star rating…"

I gave this company a 3-star rating because I would not go to them again.
I hired them to edit/proof-read a manuscript only.

1) Their work was sometimes sloppy (sending me incomplete chapter edits), which indicates that the edits were not reviewed on their end. I had to point it out. I think in the proofreading world, this is a huge problem.
2) Their edits were sometimes inconsistently applied to the same mistakes. Again, this seems problematic for a proofreading situation
3) Though I clarified that I only wanted editing/proofreading, they attempted to upsell me at several points during the process. I understand this is their business model, but as I specified what I wanted, I wish they had waited until they completed their end of the contract to make proposals. This made me wonder if my rejections of their proposals influenced points 1 and 2.
