These are a great company to work with. They are the second Whisky Cask re-sellers that I’ve worked with so far and are a pleasure to engage.

They provide a great service, very personalised and will work with you to build the portfolio that you want. They are really engaging and while I have been unable to go to any of their client events, they have been proactive in inviting me.

Of course, whisky is an unregulated and potentially risk investment so do take advice if you are unsure.

Good guys, now have 4 casks with them, arranged site visits (Scotland) to visually check the casks (was new to this asset class, was buying mostly online / by phone, and so wanted to do my due diligence on the physical product) - pleasant and interesting experience going to whisky warehouse (cold too!).
Pro-active and informed, but not pushy when you say not interested in a cask.

I purchased a barrel from Whiskey 1901 three years ago and have been consistently impressed with the experience. Though I was invited to many exclusive events over the years, unfortunately, work commitments kept me from attending.

Recently, I reached out to Michael Sparkes to discuss selling my barrel. I contacted him on a Thursday morning, and by Friday, he had already provided a price and sent over the necessary contacts. The process was incredibly swift, and Michael’s professionalism and willingness to help were outstanding.

I didn't earn anything yet, because I am new to whisky investment, so I can't judge my portfolio manager recommendation. In general my experience with Whisky1901 was very positive so far. Gabriel and Mike seems very experienced, knowledgeable specialists who really enjoy what they do, and in general very nice people to talk to.

We decided to buy a cask and after doing some looking around we decided on Whisky1901. From the start the team are professional and look after you, the buying experience was very easy. 2 years later we decided to sell our cask and it could not have been easier and about 20 days later the money with a nice profit was in our account.
