"Great product and fast delivery but....."

It stated in the order confirmation that I would be contacted prior to delivery to let me know day and time, my intention was to be home to take delivery however, I took a call at work when I was with a client from the delivery man saying he was outside my house, when questioned why, he said it was not his responsibility to contact me but the company purchased from, the goods had to be left outside in the rain (wooden skirting boards and dado rail) luckily they were well wrapped. But very disappointed with delivery and drivers attitude.
