My 10 year old daughter was lucky enough to be tutored by JK Educate for the last two years. It was brilliant to see her confidence in both Maths and English grow during this time. This can be a challenging time for the children, coupled with the fact we were in the middle of a pandemic. However, she was given an enormous amount of support to guide her through the ever-changing 11+exam process, as a result she was successfully offered places at 5 out of the 7 schools she applied for. We are both so grateful to the tutors at JK Educate for supporting her through this journey.

We have used JK Educate for general tutoring, exam prep and interview prep for the last 6 years.

Both our children have benefited enormously from the general tutoring. The subject matter covered and the approach to lessons and homework are really well tailored to suit the needs of individual children. The focus is very much on enabling the children to reach their own full potential rather than over-pressuring them to try to be something they are not. Having said which, the standards set are high and the approach rigorous.

Our son and daughter were both helped a great deal by the exam prep which JKE arranged for them (mock 11+ and practice on past papers). Having those experiences helped to ensure that our children were confident and relaxed when they went into the various entrance exams they sat, with great success.

Our daughter in particular also benefited hugely from the interview prep, particularly with being well prepared for the sort of questions where children are asked about their own character, strengths and weaknesses as well as on how to conduct herself during these interviews.

At the end of this process, parents may well have difficult choices to make as to which school would be best for their child. In this area too, JKE has also been of great help to us, giving logical, unbiased advice based on the knowledge which has been gained about our children while working with them.

Overall, the experience we and our children have enjoyed with JKE has been overwhelmingly positive and we would recommend them very highly to any parents interested in the services they provide.

Finding JK Educate after doing much rigorous research for the best tutors available for our son was the easiest decision we’ve made for his education.
From the initial assessment where our son did show his true potential, JK educate still saw what we could as parents. The bespoke and tailored direction and advice given it us has given our son the guidance, confidence and got him back on the correct track. They’re constant monitoring and monthly reports are extremely welcomed. If i could take my son out of school and leave to JK educate to cover all his teaching we would. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.

"EYFS Phonics - Incredible!"

I would highly recommend JK Educate, in particular Jackie Lewis.
My daughter is in reception and due to missing out on a key stage of her in-school learning due to Covid I booked lessons during the half term break focussing on EYFS Phonics together with Maths.
The process of booking in sessions, getting familiar with the online system was all incredibly well managed.
Jackie worked so efficiently and was able to quickly pick up on the areas of focus and get straight to work in a fun and enjoyable way that my daughter could engage in.
Jackie was able to support my daughter with her phonics for example clever tricks to remember certain phonemes and also build confidence with numbers.
By the end of the week, it was clear to see the huge amount of progress made within a short space of time.
It was a positive, confidence building experience for my daughter and I will definitely be using JK Educate again.
