As I needed a structural report for an extension to my home, I contacted Linroy Toney at Indies Structures and arranged a site visit. Linroy was very professional, helpful and friendly and talked through the project before preparing calculations, reports and drawings. I have worked with Linroy at Indie Structures a couple of times now. Firstly, Linroy came a assessed my interior walls to check whether they were load-bearing. This allowed me to create an open plan living space.
More recently I required their services again and Linroy was incredibly helpful, providing advice on alterations required to increase the gap in the ceiling joists so a new staircase could be fitted. I explained what I wanted and my proposed solution and Linroy said it wouldn't be strong enough, but came up with a solution which would be and was actually easier to implement than my original proposal.
