Vanille Vanille is the result of a unique partnership between passionate gourmet spice industry professionals from Madagascar, India and Mexico who have jointly decided to launch Vanille Vanille to further their shared vision of "redefining the spice road" by offering gorgeous, indigenous spice varieties that will take diners on a culinary journey that transcends borders, cultures, emotions, and memories. Unlike other transnational farming initiatives that tend to focus on regional pooling and aggregation of small farms in neighboring regions to offer scale, Vanille Vanille has taken a more diner-centric route by focusing on offering only the best “all-star” products from indigenous regions or those that possess superior spice-growing terroir. Thus each market complements the offerings of the other and the result is a portal to the finest spices anyone can hope to find on a single e-commerce website.
Unlocking Full-Flavoured Culinary Experiences for Both Professional and Home Chefs
Each of Vanille Vanille's farming regions have a long history of supplying a range of spices to Michelin chefs, world-renowned flavour houses, food producers and prestigious restaurants for over 20 years. With the growing role and prominence of e-commerce in many markets (particularly in the United Kingdom), Vanille Vanille's concept is based on widening access to the rare and highly coveted culinary journeys offered by fresh, farm-to-table spices to the broader public.. To that end, Vanille Vanille has set up shop in the U.K. with a warehouse and headquarters in Perry Hill Farm in Bedford with the aim of offering UK-wide delivery of ultra-fresh, gourmet spice products that are sustainable, organic, single-source, and traceable.
Raining Awareness and Encouraging Trial
Vanille-vanille.com only opened its doors for business a few months ago (with the site exiting its testing phase in December 2021). The challenge now is to widen awareness of the site, encourage trial, and deliver on its promises to cultivate a fanatic following.
