Having used John Hamilton and colleagues before, I had no hesitation in using them again to move properties. They were fantastic, keeping me updated at every point during the process, very professional and friendly. I had a point of contact at all times and could not have been happier with the service they provided. I would highly recommend John and his team. Purchase of my house went through no problems, but I am still waiting for confirmation from the estates management company that the land deeds have been put into my name. The management company won’t speak to me because I’m not on their records. John states he has done everything he should, but surely following through and making sure everything is completed properly is the right cause action. The other parties solicitor has been sending emails to John and his assistant, as well as the management company contacting them. For weeks I have been told it will be dealt with and he will get back to me but I have heard nothing. I asked for someone else to deal with this but was contacted by John who rudely stated ‘other people might have received the sent emails, but he had not and that was all that mattered’. Sorry but if everyone else included on them received bar John, that suggests the emails have been overlooked or deleted before being responded to.

The firm and John were recommended by someone I thought was a friend but has turned out to be a fraudster and I honestly wish I had not listened to her and found a different company.

I went here help in a divorce settlement issue and high fees and prolonged my case to rack up unjust fees. I feel he is dishonest man 👨 and I feel swindled by him

"Fantastic Conveyancing Service"

We instructed Mir Solicitors to handle the sale and purchase of our home and could not be happier with the service we received. After 5 months of using a national conveyancing firm it became obvious to us that they were completely incompetent and would never get us to completion. In the 5 months of using them, we didn't speak to our case handler once, nothing was explained to us and any work they did on our case was late, unthorough and communicated to us in the briefest possible manner, if at all.
We decided to switch solicitors to use a local firm and after calling a few, we knew right away that Mir were what we were looking for. They answered the phone in two rings and less than a minute later I was speaking to John, a qualified solicitor who took the time to talk to me in great detail about our options. We instructed them to take over our case and the level of service we received afterwards from John and Shabbana was everything we hoped it would be. They would always answer calls right away and take the time to update us in a friendly and professional manner. Unfortunately, other parties in our chain were using large conveyancing firms, similar to the one we had used previously, and so it proved to be an immense challenge to get to completion. We did finally do it however, and that is absolutely down to John and Shabbana and the team at Mir. We would use them again in a heartbeat and would recommend anyone to do the same.

I am currently using Mir solicitors for my divorce. They have not only been great to deal with but very reassuring, compassionate and reasonable on cost. Whilst going though my divorce I have heard many horror story's of other peoples experiences, mostly about the solicitor's they have used. Thankfully this has not been my experience. Emma has always been contactable, advised me when needed and never requesting money to do so. She has been a huge support at what has been a very difficult time. I would highly recommend this firm.
