"NSI Gold Standard service"
In 2017 I had CCTV and security lights installed by this company. The men were punctual, polite and knowledgeable and showed me how it worked. The lady who does the annual servicing is always punctual, polite and knowledgeable and makes sure I know how to use it.
There was already a burglar alarm installed by another company. I had years of extremely poor service, a long period when I could not access my house and months when it was not working. I cancelled the contract with them.
As I already had a high opinion of Tickford, and they have the Gold Standard NSI, I asked them to give me a quote. The gentleman came punctually on 29 November 2024, arriving at about the same time I did. When we went in we discovered the house was cold. We found the boiler was off. He asked about the fuse box, found a switch was off and turned it on. He discovered a leak, asked to go upstairs and worked out it was from the shower. He advised me to contact my boiler man, which I did, and he confirmed the leak was from the shower and dealt with it.
The quote I was given for a new burglar alarm was reasonable, we agreed the installation date of 9 December 2024 and I got the email quote about an hour later.
The system was installed on 9 December 2024. The two men were punctual, did the installation, filled the holes where they removed the old control panel and cleaned up. Then they showed me how to use the system.
While showing me how to use the system they set off the alarm so I knew what to do. The alarm is monitored and that company telephoned me about the alarm going off. It was a real person (not a recorded message) and I explained that it had been part of my training.
There are two further instances where this company has gone "above and beyond", one on 9 December 2024 and the other on 23 December 2024. I cannot rate them highly enough.
