"Best caddy for an iceland Roadtrip"

The team of the rental service is great, they picked us up from the bus station and brought us later to our hotel. Never had such a good Personal rental Service. The Caddy was fully equipped with everything you need for an iceland Roadtrip - heating system, blankets, kitchen box, a fridge and a good mattress. They thought of everything. Totally recommend it! :)

"Great experience and helpful service"

We had a great experience! Our VW-caddy was really comfortable, we slept well and we hat enough space for our 4 suitcases. There was also a cool box and a gas griller in the car, which was very important and therefore it's not necessary to bring all that stuff with you to Iceland.
We were very happy with the service. The team was so helpful and reliable. Our emails are always answered very quick, which gave us a good and safe feeling. Therefore it was a very positive experience and we would definitely rent the car again!

"In one word: excellent! They exceeded our expectations"

In one word: excellent! Robert and Birgir delivered the best customer service experience we had in Iceland. I have never rented a campervan before and I was nervous about driving by myself since I was traveling only with my teenage daughter. However, Robert gave me all the information needed and many tips to not only take good care of the campervan; but also, he gave us information of camp sites, grocery stores, and “must see” in our road trip. He also provided very good advice on how to look at the weather conditions, especially the wind rate, as the strong winds could make it dangerous to drive in some areas, he also pointed out how to open the doors if we were in those conditions so it didn’t result on a damaged doors/car.

The campervan is perfect for two people, there is plenty of room for the bags, food, and other items you are bringing. The bed is super comfortable and they provide shades for privacy. There is a separate battery that keeps running when the car is stopped and makes it warm and so comfortable during the sleep hours.

They provide plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, etc. so you only need to purchase food, dish soap, etc. It also comes with a small fridge. They have options for automatic or shift (stick) and we chose stick I feel you have more control of the car AND it’s more affordable too! So, my American fellows, learn how to drive shift before you head to Iceland and you’ll save a lot of money.

We missed one of our tours and needed to get the campervan earlier, we contact Affordable Campers and Robert adjusted to our new schedule and picked us up from our hotel with no problem.

The entire trip was wonderful and the camper van was the best thing we could have done, it allowed us to wake up right next to amazing places and just walk out to enjoy them. Because it really NEVER was dark in June, we took advantage and drove late at night to get to our next stop and the drive was phenomenal.

We were having so much fun that we called to extend our rental for one more day and we contacted Affordable Campers but the campervans were already booked. We started heading towards Reykjavik but were late to drop it off. Birgir was very understanding and he told us to just call 20 minutes before our arrival to the drop off site. When we arrived he told us that he tried to reach us a couple of times to let us know they’ve made accommodations for us to keep the campervan one more day but our phone was off and we never heard the call.

Birgir also gave us a ride to our hotel, I asked about restaurant recommendations and he drove us around to show us exactly where to find them and how to get to them from our hotel. So just to show that Affordable Campers will go out of their way to make your experience a great one!

We will definitely book with them again. Look no further and rent with them! It took me a long time to find a campervan company since I read many bad reviews. However, when I read the reviews for Affordable Campers I decided to go with them and it was the best decision.

"Best car rental company in Iceland"

We rented a car through this company for 10 days and everything was just perfect. The owners were really nice and flexible and we couldn't have asked for a better trip to Iceland. They were very welcoming and helpful with everything. The car was very comfortable and everything worked perfectly. Highly recommendable and definitely 11/10 🙂

"Friendly owners and good campers"

We just rented and can highly recommend. The owners are very friendly and flexible, offering pickup at the hotel. The camper was clean, well maintained and comfortable.

All in all a very easy and good experience to book and rent.
