Quality work. We are pleased we chose Hage for our concrete work.

"Not trusthworthy and major cracks"

Not trustworthy and major cracks in our driveway after about 3 years.

Here we are 3 years into an expected 5 year warranty and Distinctive concrete won't fix major cracks under warranty. Our original quote and several revisions have a 5 year warranted specified.

When Distinctive Concrete representative brought a contract to sign and pick up deposit they brought a print out that had been changed to 2 year warranty. Quote number, contract date and cost were all the same as previous quote with 5 year contract. I just became aware of this switch when I asked for a warranty repair.

Contract also lists a bunch of things that are excluded from warranty. "Cracking" is not listed as exclusion. However Distinctive Concrete is also saying that "cracking" is not covered under warranty. Who would hire a concrete contractor that didn't cover cracking?

We had no knowledge that Distinctive Concrete switched the fine print. I am taking them to court and will update this review with outcome.

"Patio Project"

I contracted with Mike to tear out my back step and patio and replace with a new enlarged patio. Mike and his crew did a fabulous job. They were able to answer any questions I had. They would clean up every day when before they left. The patio and new step look great. Plus, by sloping the patio from the house, I have no more basement water problems from the patio area. I will definitely use Mike’s company again for any future concrete projects

Mike Hage Distinctive Concrete provided masonry services in several areas of my house. They were very professional and I was very happy with their work.
Outside they replaced four pads of concrete and a step adjacent to our pool deck; they also filled in a large crack in a stone wall by our entry and tuck-pointed around a garage door.
Inside they reset two large stones around one fireplace; on another they ground down (smoothed) a stone hearth. On a third they removed stains on the concrete.
I'll be using them again in the future should I need any more masonry services.

"I’m just so thrilled with the new floor!"

Mike has done several jobs for us over the past years including a new driveway, sidewalks and a stamped patio but as happy as I was with them it doesn’t compare to how thrilled I am about him jacking up our garage sized shed, completely removing the old cracked slab, adding a foundation and a brand new floor. I couldn’t have imagined how well it turned out. Great job Mike and crew!
