After finding the website most helpful I needed additional guidance in choosing
the perfect organic sleeping option for my 15 month old grad daughter. I called and spoke with Perry who over the course of one week and many friendly phone calls back and forth and him happily sending swatches of samples out to me, I picked the perfect option.
He worked with me on shipping and I received my ordered promptly.
I then wanted to purchase an additional cover and because the futon shop did not have the cover I wanted, they made it special order and rush shipped it to me in 3 days time.

"Awesome! We love it."

The tri[fold futon is wonderful and very comfy for sleeping guests. It also stores nice in the room with a pendleton blanket over it for a low seating couch. The only downside was we thought it was $60 shipping and we were billed $75.

We've been looking everywhere for a custom futon sofa bed, and came across the Futon shop while searching online. Their website is very helpful and well designed. We went to their shop in Encino, and quickly found a wall hugger model with lots of fabric, pillow and mattress choices. Delivery was fast- we're very happy with the sturdiness and ease of operation too. The folks at the shop were friendly and extremely helpful. I'd recommend them to anyone.

"You'll have to hound these people to get a refund"

I purchased a futon cover online with TheFutonShop.com, and minutes later, emailed to cancel my order. After ignoring two emails requesting the order be canceled, I called TheFutonShop. I was sent a confirmation email saying my refund would post in 24-48 hours. A month later, I was going through my credit card bill and saw that no refund had been issued. I called again, and I was told that for "some reason" the accounting department had not processed the refund. I was again assured that the refund would post in 24-48 hours.

I am never buying from these people again. What a hassle.

"Bought a Tri-Futon yesterday"

I bought another Futon from this store. This time Scott helped me out. I called him before I went in the store and told him what I was looking for. He said he didn't have it in his store but will check their other store to see if they have the Futon I was looking for. Within 5 mins he called me back and told me that their other store has what I'm looking for and I can have my Futon by Christmas eve. I decided to drive to the store and test the smaller Futon that they had to test if it was good before purchasing it. The Futon was great, high quality so I purchased it and Scott said that he will get the Futon to his store by this Saturday which is 3 days earlier than he told me over the phone. This store has great employees, great customer service and I highly recommend everyone to check this store out. Thank you Scott !!!! Mahshid

"3rd order, need I say more?"

I love that my bed smells like a newly mown meadow. I have found for the - Queen - Firm - 15-20 years COMFORTREST - that unless you are able to have it re-stuffed it is really comfortable only about 5 years, just bought a 2nd to go over the 1st. The wool layer keeps it warms and retains body heat good for winter and summer temps.

"good products, mediocre website"

I purchased a futon (frame, mattress, cover) off the website. It was 50% off due to Veteran's Day and still came out to be 1300 with shipping.
If I weren't into the whole Organic thing, I probably wouldn't have made this purchase. The website is a little confusing. If you buy each piece separately (like I did), you can't see what the final product looks like, so you just have to use your imagination. It would be nice to see what I am buying as a full couch, especially for that much money.

I am very please with my purchase. I bought a futon cover that arrived earlier than expected and is even better than I had anticipated - great quality of material that makes my futon so much more comfortable, super soft!

"Poor communication regarding shipping and delivery time."

I ordered the Shiatsu mat and never received any shipping or tracking information until nine days later. The toll free customer service was of little use in telling me when it would ship and told me it might take two to three weeks more. The tracking number showed that label had been created, but the item was not yet picked up. They asked me to cal the warehouse, who then insisted on calling it a stretching mat, not a Shiatsu mat. I was told it would ship later today. There should have been clearer communication regarding the name of the product, when it would ship, etc.
