"Amazing dachshund boarding "

Our Black and Tan girl Scooby stayed for her first sleepover, after a settling in day a few months ago. Nina’s dedication to daxies was clear from the start, she got to know Scooby while making sure she was happy and comfortable, and welcomed to the pack. We knew our dog was safe and well looked after, especially as a one of a kind breed, and Nina shared regular updates throughout her stay too. Everything is secure and they wear GPS collars, the only thing we needed to bring was Scoobys food! She was even given a tote bag for her next pawcation. Scooby can’t wait!! Highly recommend 💜

"Amazing home from home experience for dachshunds. "

My sausage dog recently stayed with Nina at Black and Tan boarding and was extremely well looked after, and I would highly recommend her. Nina’s care for the dogs is exceptional and it would always be my first choice for boarding. My dog particularly loves visiting in the winter when she can snuggle up by the aga. It’s also great that she also gets to socialise with other dogs of the same breed.

"Simply the BEST place for sausages"

We have been taking our little rescue to Black & Tan for around 3 years now and we are so lucky to have somewhere where we know he will be having the best time. Our dog is very nervous as a result of his history and Nina was absolutely fantastic, so patient while he settled in to let him go at his own pace and build trust. Now, every photo I have sent through his tail is just a blur because it's wagging so hard!

Nina really treats the dogs as her own and we can enjoy our holiday knowing that our little dog is enjoying his too (especially with salmon and sausages by the aga!). It really is worth its weight in gold!

"Great loving Dachshund Hotel"

We had the pleasure of booking our miniature dachshund with Black & Tan for 3 nights. We have only good things to say. Nina clearly loves what she does and take great interest in her guests. She is responsive, organised and great at communicating before and during the stay. It is a great sausage set-up, not least the secure grounds (GPS collars a great touch too). In our case, having a dachshund who has been through IVDD, we were massively re-assured by Nina’s experience of this and willingness to adjust what our our sausage was allowed to do. Thank you. We hope we (or rather our sausage) can stay again.

If you own a Dacshund you will always worry about where to leave them if you need to do so for a day or more. Black & Tan is the perfect venue. Nina welcomes each and every Daxie as though they were her own and being a Daxie owner she knows the breed inside out. There is a secure 2 acre field attached to the property so whether your Daxie likes to run, dig holes or chase balls their desire is catered for. Milly, my Daxie has the time of her life as is evidenced by the frequent pictures and videos Nina sends. I even book her in for her own pawcation if I’m not going away as she has such a great time. Black & Tan is “Simply the Best”. Thankyou Nina.

"Amazing place for your dachshunds"

My very precious girls went to Nina’s recently for their first week long stay. I was so anxious about leaving them especially with Autumn only being 8 months old & being very unsure about things at the moment. As it was the first time I had left them for so long I was worried they would be unhappy & not settle. Nina was great as always sending me lots of updates & photos & videos of them to reassure me & to show me they were having a great time, which they definitely did & have come home as if I’ve never been away. Autumn has come home all confident & independent & thinks she has grown into a very big girl. The time with the other dogs & being able to run freely has done her so much good. Thank you all of the team at Black & Tan 🐾

"Amazing place for your little babies."

My baby Tilly has just come back from her trial sleepover which was no problem and she loved it. I was apprehensive at first as she has never stayed anywhere I don’t no but Nina was great and creates a great atmosphere for them. She came back and was absolutely shattered from all the running around which was great for her to play with other doggies. Nina gave me regular updates to let me know she was safe and well and that she was loving life. Tilly is looking forward to her pawcation when her mummy and daddy go on vacation. Thanks Nina and team amazing place x 😘

"Brilliant first stay"

Our little dapple had a brilliant trial stay last night! Nina is so lovely, she answered all of our questions and made us feel very reassured. We got regular updates and pictures so we could see how much he was enjoying his stay! Thank you Nina!
