"Refusal to respond to request for a return"
My partner was effected by the recent Matches Fashion administration and when trying to return an item to Le Kilt direct (she'd purchased two from Matches and one direct), no response via email or phone although numerous attempts were made. Terrible customer service and indeed I'm unsure how it's even legal to simply ignore the request for a return. A shame as the intention was to support a local brand however the lack of respect for their customers... Well frankly I couldn't believe the cheek

Kilt took a lot longer to arrive than I expected. Tartan was not of very good quality, but for a cheap fun kilt it was OK. I thought it was an ex hire kilt I was to receive but the kilt looked brand new.

This was not the best experience the staff was very good and friendly but they messed up my drink order and then the kitchen closed due to the sinks and they said this happens a lot so only come here if you want drinks

"Ordered 7 items with an expected…"
Ordered 7 items with an expected shipping date of one month later. Within two weeks I started receiving email requests to review the items which hadn't shipped yet. A few days after the shipping date my credit card was refunded for the sale and I received an email apologizing for not being able to complete the order because the website had not been updated (apparently for at least a couple of years) and all the items and inventory quantities on the website were completely erroneous! They suggested that I go to the NEW website where everything would be up to date. However, only 1 of the 7 items I ordered was available on the "new" website and I was not given any explanation as to whether the other items would be available again or not. How does a business stay alive when they have NO IDEA what merchandise they have available to sell??? And to top it all, one of the sporrans I had ordered that is no longer available is prominently displayed on the new website! Needless to say, I won't be wasting anymore time on The Kilt Store or 8 Yards or whatever else they may decide to call themselves in the future!
