***** Adding Five more stars to equal 10 !!!!! We enjoyed an Amazing Day with Tome. The depth of his knowledge that he freely shared was Impressive. His time that was gracefully distributed with the other couple was perfectly and seamlessly timed. His conversational skills were well beyond his age. Snow Monkey Park was a delight. The walk/climb up the mountain to the viewing area was challenging but not overwhelming (I had a knee replacement five months ago). Onsen Village.....I would love to live there. The Bonus visit to the Cherry Blossom Festival was the "Cherry on Top"!!!! The day was a winning TriFecta!!! Thank You Tome and IXSM Travel for putting together this amazing adventure.

"Fun and informative snow monkey tour"

We had a great time on the snow monkey tour with visit to a local brewery and Shibu Onsen. The tour was fun and informative while leaving space for individual time away from the group. We learned and saw lots of things we would never have without the very knowledgable tour guide.

We had a great guide who was informative and humorous. Both our guide and driver were very good and helpful which made for a lovely visit to the snow monkeys and local onsen town.

Great half day trip from Nozawa Onsen to the snow monkeys. Our guide was wonderful and very helpful. Made a stop at an interesting brewery on the way back, then a stop at Shiba Onsen, which was a very quaint village

"Disrespectful of traditional customs"

Rosalie I think our guide's name was. She was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, but unfortunately I found some of her comments a little disrespectful of Japanese culture. She made disparaging comments about aspects such as bathing in an open air onsen with monkeys and also about public bathing naked, which is a traditional custom in Japan. Having lived in Japan for 2 years many years ago, and having worked in similar tourism roles in the past, I found these comments derogatory, rude and uncalled for.
