I was surprised to see how many quotes I got within minutes of having posted a job. This has the potential to save me a lot of time. In terms of rating on the individual service providers, there is not a lot there yet but I imagine it is something that will improve as more of us use this site. Nevertheless, great site!

I posted two jobs on the Wednesday night and by the time I got up in the morning I had 8 replies and by 2 o'clock I had booked a Guy for one of the jobs and I have quotes coming in for the other job. Fantastic Service and safe too with insurance for your jobs offered - well worth giving it a try - you could be surprised.

This is the first time I have used such a site to contact tradespeople - perhaps that is because I am in a more a'mature" age group! However I have been very impressed with the number and diversity of the responses I got to the job I posted which was assistance with the construction of a small retaining wall. The responses came within 24hrs of posting my job (in fact most were received within a couple of hours). The people who contacted me offered a variety of positive options, some of which I had not expected but welcomed. Contrast this response to others where I have contacted tradespeople direct and have had to wait up to a week for them to come around and give a quote. I think this service offers a great alternative. I have not engaged anyone yet as I am still considering my options but if I proceed I feel confident that I will use one of the people who contacted me via this site. All-in-all I am very impressed.
