"Had a lovely time staying at this…"

Had a lovely time staying at this property for a family trip with 7 adults and 3 children as part of our annual visit to Longleat and the Festival of Light. During our stay a red weather warning was issued and the host quickly contacted us to offer late checkout. The house is very big, clean with plenty of modern amenities in a very old house.

We had a lovely stay here over one weekend. The room are large and comfortable and the living room area perfect our group of 8.

Excellent stay. Brilliant hosts, lovely area too with fun pubs and a great cafe (Toast). The pool and the hot tub were excellent, really made the weekend. Thank you so much for having us.

This was a family reunion for 11 adults and children so the pool and great weather made our holiday. Great location with the park very easy walking distance and close to Bath.

Perfect space for a nights stay, really comfortable and easy self check in as I arrived later in the evening.

We stayed in no5, it did look a nice place but the road makes the house shake. The noise from the road is constant and the noise from the downstairs apartment was enough to want the stay to end early. The room needs some tlc, window catches all loose, bathroom door that doesn’t lock. the cups filthy. Unfortunately not the stay in reflection of the price.

"Lovely house"

Lovely house, very big with comfy beds and lots to do! I will say its not clear this house is on a very busy main road, so it was quite loud when trying to sleep. Unfortunately we did have a few cleaning issues assuming from the previous guests, every bin was full, sticky work surfaces and dining table but we just cleaned up and carried on! Overall we had a lovely weekend and the house was really fun to stay at.

Beautiful place. Great location for exploring Bath and the surrounding area. The pool and hot tub were a family favourite!

Perfect for what we wanted as a hen weekend. Having separate cottages was great for the ones who wanted it quieter. Pool and hot tub lovely, quiet location The main house is all on one level. Kitchen not massive but communal space is a good size. You are underneath another property and can hear the movement in the bedrooms. But not an issue just something to be aware of. Overall a pleasant stay.
