I went to the practice yesterday to have my regular check up and they are taking the Covid 19 situation extremely seriously - hand gel on entry and exit - full PPE and no aerosol. So great to see a company 'getting on with it'.

I know that a lot of people are quite apprehensive about visiting a dentist at this current time.
All I can say is that my experience today was entirely positive. Jo and her team (sorry, I still can't remember the name of the wonderfully professional dental nurse!) took great care to ensure a smooth and reassuring visit. I had absolutely no concerns about safety/hygiene, etc.

Excellent service throughout. Within 10mins of sending an email regarding my dental emergency, the team at AP Smilecare arranged my appointment so swiftly. I was greeted at the door by both Simon and Vanessa in full PPE. I felt safe throughout my appointment and everything was dealt with so efficiently. A huge thank you to both Simon and Vanessa. Simon you are the most compassionate dentist and you’re brilliant at what you do. A real hero! Thank you for taking care of me and making me feel so safe during these uneasy times.

Excellent service from start to finish for an emergency dental appointment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I was professionally dealt with by phone and on the day of the appointment by friendly efficient staff.
Paperwork completed online before the appointment which saved time on the day.
Full PPE used and felt reassured that my treatment was being carried out in a safe working environment in line with NHS/Government guidance.

"Only dentist which I feel comfortable…"
Only dentist which I feel comfortable at! My dentist Simon is very professional and explains things as he doing the treatment which makes me feel at ease. Had an appointment for a filling today which was cancelled due to covid so was rearranged for today. Dentist and dental nurse had full ppe on which made me feel at ease as I can’t imagine how difficult it is to do with treatment when your face is covered! Filling went fine and Simon was explaining what he was doing throughout the treatment.

"Safe & Straightforward"
Today I had an emergency appointment at the AP Smile Care Clinic.
The process was pretty straightforward and efficient.
Initially I received a phone call to confirm a few details, I was sent a few forms to fill out online alongside a request to try and take a picture of the effected area.
Once I had submitted the details, I received a call shortly after. (Almost instantly! I was surprised at the quick service)
The Dentist spoke to me over the phone in regards to the issue - however, they still wanted me to come in and have it checked up.
I was given a set appointment, alongside safety guidelines of the relevant procedures put in place due to the current situation.
Upon arrival, I informed them by telephone that I had arrived - I was welcomed by the Dental Nurse/Assistant.
My temperature was taken before entering the building and thereafter I was directed to the Dental Treatment Room.
There I met the dentist whom I had spoken to. She went through the checks and explained the problem I was suffering alongside taking questions to help solve the problem.
I was also given guidance as to how I could help solve the irritation.
In conclusion, it was a pretty safe and straightforward procedure with all the guidelines being met.
I would like to extend my gratitude to the team who helped me during these painful times.

"Performs During the Lockdown"
Had to call AP Smilecare during the Covid lockdown due to very painful toothache, Michaela the office manager was very professional and took me through what was needed in these changing times , she arranged for the dentist to ring me back which he did and I visited the practice to pick up the appropriate prescription to sort out the pain until I could visit the practice to get the tooth sorted out.

AP should stand for Always Professional or Always Performs because that's what the practice does .
