Highly recommended! We learned through safaribookings.com about BujukuEcoTours. We got in contact per E-Mail and together with Muhindo Geoffrey we worked out our bespoke safari for one month. The whole trip was at a very reasonable price and surpassed our expectations by far. In the middle of our safari we had our 8 day Rwenzori-Trekking, which brought us to the Cheptegei-Peak (4907 m above sea-level). Our two guides (Harrison and Ludag) and logistic chief and chef Sedrag were at every moment very attentive and catered to our needs and desires (looking out für birds and animals, overcome obstacles, waiting, when we took many pictures, prepare hot water for tea, shower and cooking according to our wishes). We always felt save and cared for. The rest of our trip (20 days) we were together with the fearless guide Kelly Edame in Rwanda (Niungwe NP), DR Congo (Kahuzi Biega NP) and Uganda (Bwindi NP, Lake Mburo NP, Queen Elizabeth NP, Kibale NP, Murchison Falls NP and Kidepo NP and the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary). We had a very very good time together and we saw many many different animals (for example Leopard at day and at night, shoebill storch, Gorillas, Chimps). At every time we could add an activity which wasn’t planned in advance (which we weren’t even always extra charged for), so we didn’t miss a thing we wanted to see. Kelly managed the whole trip wonderfully. We always liked his cheerfull mood and open and honest communication. If we go again to Uganda, we surely will try to get him again as guide and driver!

Me and my friend, we did a trek in January 2024 in Rwenzori mountains, started from Kasanzi region through camps of Kasanzi, Bekambo, Lami, John Maata hut, Elena hut to Margherita peak, then back to John Maata hut through Irene lake hut and out of the park along the Central cirquit, Bujuku and Mubuku river with lunch in Nyabitaba hut. 7 days, 6 nights in the mountains. We had 2 guides, cooks, porters and 2 rangers.
