"It's amazing how the 1-hour session…"

It's amazing how the 1-hour session with Karen resulted in an immediate and remarkable improvement in my presentation skills. The session was truly bespoke and interactive. It started off with Karen trying to understand my personal feelings, in particular, my fears and worries when making presentations, so that she could offer and blend in targeted advice later on. We then spent around 30-45 minutes doing mock presentations, whereby I delivered a short presentation for Karen to provide immediate, useful comments. I was so pleasantly shocked how my presentation improved when I redid the presentation using Karen's tips. I sounded much more confident and fluent in the blink of an eye. It was truly amazing how much I could achieve within such a short period of time.

The only area of improvement for the workshop would be to have at least a rough agenda for the meeting. It was a little stressful to go into the session without knowing what to expect and prepare for. I wonder if I might have learnt more if I had done more preparation. Although I'm already very happy with what I've learnt there.
