Do not make a booking with this company had booked from last year for my daughter communion been ringing and texting since last week to confirm booking of time he will be calling ignored me and blocked me on Facebook used him for years very unprofessional to leave me hanging 4 days before communion after the last year and half kids had and communion cancelled he do this to kids a disgrace of a man

"Worst experience ever"

We booked a bouncing castle 3 months in advance and Barry cancelled it with 4 days to go.
When questioned Barry couldn't care less and explained that he had got a booking closer to home which was better money for him then than traveling to our house

"This man should not be in business."

This man should not be in business.. had my son's 7th birthday booked with him last Sunday which I booked in April. On to him to confirm numerous times . Never arrived rang him no answer only texts saying he'll be 20 mins late . I had all my son's friends waiting with nothing for them . I am beyond shocked and disappointed with this service. DO NOT USE MR COOL

"Not cool"

Booked a bouncy castle from Mr Cool Events for my daughter's birthday party last weekend. It was due to be delivered at ten o clock on Saturday morning, so the night before, my wife contacted Mr Cool himself to double check that all would go to plan and that it would be delivered on time.

Informing us that he was very busy, he asked what time the party was due to start (12 o clock), and assured us that he would be there at half eleven.

He eventually showed up at twenty to two and set up the bouncy castle (which was different to the one we ordered). He made sure to let us know, again, that he was very busy (why take the booking then?). I guess we should be grateful that he was kind enough to grace us with his presence at all.

Half an hour after he left, the motor stopped working and the bouncy castle, much like the kids enjoyment, deflated.

I tried several times to call him, to no avail. I eventually got through, and was told that that shouldn't have happened, and that I should check the electricity in the house.

That obviously wasn't the cause of the deflation. More likely, it had something to do with the fact that the cables were held together with duct tape, but I'm not an expert.

This was at quarter past three, and I had to leave to go to work. He told me that he could come back to fix the problem at five.

He did not show up at five.

He eventually arrived at ten to six and told my wife that the motor cut out because she was using a fryer at the same time.

He offered to leave the castle with us for an extra day, which my wife declined. There's not much enjoyment to be gained from having a deflated 40 foot crocodile in your garden.

My wife requested a full refund, but Mr Cool deemed that his tardiness and subpar equipment didn't necessitate doing the decent thing, instead giving only half of the €200 price tag back because "he could have rented it out to someone else".

So, for half an hour's bouncing, we paid €100.

To be honest, from the sheer amount of bad reviews I've read online (and the fact that he has disabled the review feature on Facebook), I don't understand how he's still in business. Hopefully, in reading this, someone might avoid the displeasure of dealing with him.

Avoid like the plague.

"Absolute disgrace of a company"

Absolute disgrace of a company. Booked this for my sons birthday for this weekend. Got a text at 10.45 last night to say they could not take my booking as they are too busy. I booked them nearly 2 months ago. I rang before I booked to confirm that they had availability and they delivered to my area as I live in a rural area and he said that they had availability and delivered to my area and would take my booking. I was absolutely raging after I got the text message late last night to cancel. My son was hysterical at the top of the stairs this morning after I told him that the bouncy castle he was looking forward to for the last 2 months was after being cancelled. I rang and I said I got a text off him late last night to cancel my booking for the weekend and he said which one naming 3 or 4 different other places he obviously let down last minute aswell. He said he was too busy to take my booking he was very busy with calls the last couple of weeks to which I replied that is no good to me or my son who had booked 2 months ago. He said everywhere was very busy over the schools closing and everyone had been looking for bouncy castles (this was the reason I booked 2 months on advance as I knew this would be the case). He said he text me last night to give me plenty of notice to get another supplier after just telling me everyone are looking for bouncy castles 3 days is definitely not enough notice to get another obstacle course booked and an absolute disgrace. They should not be in business if they can do this to little children and not even give it a second thought. Absolutely fuming

"Unreliable. Unaccountable. Utter disgrace"

Did not honour a booking for a communion. Didnt answer the phone when late. Text saying he coyldn5 make it. Turns out he was letting down many parents all day yesterday. No show. No apology. Disappointed children. A total disgrace.
