As an escort who started out working for Paramour, I can say that their treatment of both workers and clients is extremely predatory. Escorts receive less than 50% of what clients pay for their services.

Receptionists are paid on commission, which means that the more bookings they can get workers to take, the more they get paid. They care very little about the workers' wellbeing. Ultimately I left the agency because I was constantly pressured and harassed. On more than one occasion when I stated I was unavailable for a 'cover shift', they texted and called me constantly throughout the night.

The agency takes a 50-60% cut from whatever amount a client pays the escort: 50% if the booking fee was under $500, and 60% if over. Further, workers must pay the agency's drivers out of their own earnings, meaning that often workers get to keep less than 40% of what clients have paid for their services. For further context, I wasn't told about this cut until *after* my first mandatory *twelve-hour shift* with the agency.

Looking at the most recent review here concerning how a worker 'wasted' time, I would say you have the agency to hold accountable. Please don't blame the escort, this procedure is exactly what we're told to do on our first shift; please remember that we really don't get any 'workplace' training and are completely thrown in the deep end by this agency. They are taking advantage of us as well as you.

True, I haven't worked for them for a while (2017 actually, when advised how poorly Paramour was run compared with other businesses), with good reason, and I hope they have reviewed their business model since then. I know many girls in the industry who worked with them more recently and their experiences were even worse than mine. Including being expected to do 12 hour shifts. No wonder a fellow escort and I were threatened with being fired for having outside of work communication with each other!
No miscommunication, just a predatory agency obsessed with profit :)

"Pay so much yet so little time"

Well mates, if you ever want to throw your money away then no doubt contact them. This is based on my experience with one of their ladies called Tamara a few months back and my friends have shared the same tales with other ladies at Paramour as well. The escort rates are by the hour and you end up paying 300 to 400 of your hard earned cash. When she arrives, she starts by wasting the first 15 minutes talking about the payment and then other useless small talk. Finally she gets into bed and you think you have 45 minutes so great. But no, you're going to get cheated again. 15 minutes before the hour is over, she will quickly end the session and say she has to take a shower and get ready to leave. So what you're paying for is an extravagant amount for such little time. Best chance is you will get 30 to 35 minutes though you pay for the hour. Why should we pay for the ladies to get ready and take a shower? What a big joke. If anything that should be after the hour is over. What makes it worse is the ladies at the reception are always assuring you will have a lovely time but the fact that you only get 30 to 35 minutes is never mentioned. Well I won't be making that mistake again.

"intentionally sends any girl and robs workers of hard earned $$!"

This company is the biggest load!! My first ever experience as a FSSW was with this company that they were more than aware of that. Was not even told how to perform a health check or other safe procedures - was hauled off to my first booking upon arriving straight away (money hungry fools). With a couple which I never agreed I was comfortable with? This was nearly a year ago and I’m still traumatised. They tell you a different name every booking you go to - their responses to these reviews are a load **** because they send ANY girl to ANY booking and tell you what name to introduce yourself as. I was someone else every time and the client is always confused because the description is wrong. I made $4k in cash that night being sent around to al these places and had to pay hundreds out of my money for the “driver” who just slept in the car doing nothing??? Then was assaulted by the staff because I had a problem having not been explained how the rates or driver payment works until returning being robbed of nearly all of it and chased down the fire stairs and ASSAULTED by the management. I got to keep $1k of the over $4k in cash made. The hourly rate I was taking was $500ph which ends up meaning I only made around $100ph once they take “their cut they worked for” (and I quote HAHA f*t asssssssses just taking calls?) not including the driving cost? Was basically 8 hours of bookings! Better off working in a brothel you’ll be paid better, respected and treated with more dignity. This place is exploitation and blatant disregard for workers and clients. VILE

"Not Disability friendly"

Have been a client with Paramour for about 5 years, but only very infrequently as I have a disability and I’m not able to work as much as I’d like to as a result.

Hence, when I do have the money saved up, it becomes a special occasion or treat that I use to get me through the dark times.

Along with a physical disability, I live with severe mental illness which makes it incredibly distressing to talk on the phone.

I contacted reception by email and tried to explain my reasons for needing to email rather than phone, and at first they were accomodating and responded, asking me where I lived so they could quote accurately. Unfortunately, as soon as I wrote back with my suburb they stopped responding at all.

3 weeks later and after over 10 attempts to get a response, I’m giving up. I even signed up to their Twitter to try to get a response. No luck.

So I guess this is one company that doesn’t plan on being accessible or disability friendly.

"FRAUD WARNING!! Read this before you book."

First I would Like to inform the management of Paramour that I have all the call recordings and other proofs to support my below claims. So in case your receptionist is reluctant to admit the below complaint please let her know about it.
I was becoming a regular customer of yours’; you can check my booking history to verify this. So as usual I called your hotline to make a booking on yesterday morning (17/07/19) at 11.53 AM. Then I asked about a specific girl (name can be provided if you can’t find it on your records) as she had provided an exceptional service last time. Receptionist told me “she’s available whole day so tell me the time you want her”. So I told her to make the booking for 7.30 PM on yesterday (17/07/19). She confirmed the booking and hung up the phone. I called you earlier because I thought this will enable you to arrange the booking easily.

At 12.23 PM I received a text message from one of your receptionist mentioning “the girl you asked is available, at what time the booking should be made?” I replied several times mentioning I booked her already in the morning, but there was no reply. So I called your number again at 4.03 PM to make sure my booking is going through as planned. Receptionist once again confirmed that the girl I asked is available and she will be arriving at 7.30PM.

At 7.30 PM they have sent me a totally different girl. I informed her politely that there must be a mistake as I have booked another girl in advance. So she asked me to call the receptionist. Then I called your number again at 7.30PM.

I cannot explain from words how rude your receptionist was. I was explaining about my concerns. She wasn’t even letting me to speak. She was very rude and arrogant. She kept asking me “why,why what is the problem? What’s wrong with this girl? I politely explained I specifically made an advance booking for one of your girls, that’s the problem. But she wasn’t even professional enough to say sorry, she kept shouting like I have sent the wrong girl. She directly refused to re send the girl I asked and threatened me of charging me a cancellation fee if I want the girl she sent out of my place. After arguing with her for so long, she continuously forced & threatened me to go ahead with the booking if I want to avoid the cancellation fee. After being helpless, the only option I had was to go along with this wrong booking.

Then I made the payment using my Pre-loaded DEBIT card, your receptionist has overcharged me with a CREDIT card surcharge for this transaction. This is the first time I encounter this kind of foolish people handling the front line of a business. While I asked about the surcharge, no answers were given. Also the girl took a photo of my card mentioning it is your company policy. As I have signed your debit slip already, I am not obliged to provide photographs of my payment instruments to you by any law. Also under privacy act of Australia, It is illegal to obtain or hold unnecessary customer information. Also these photos were taken using a private mobile phone used by that girl.

The service provided by this girl wasn’t even slightly compared to the girl that I have asked. She was in a big hurry for some reason. I couldn’t believe she actually setup her alarm clock several times in mobile as a reminder. For the whole duration she was focused on reminding me the time left.

As you are claiming to be one of the best escort agencies in Melbourne, these kinds of childish behaviors will not take you anywhere near there; it will only take your business down day by day. I really don’t know if there is actually a top management to your company or in this case a management at all. As far as I feel your company is being run by a single rude, arrogant, unprofessional staff. Because if she was reporting to a higher management she wouldn’t have talk to a customer like that, Unless of course management encourages this kind of fraudulent behaviors to make profits.

It is common sense to inform your customers, if you can’t genuinely fulfill their request. In this case it was so simple. If the girl I asked was not available or she was unable to make it to the appointment you guys could have just inform me; I could have rescheduled my appointment.

But no, you decided to force & threatened me to go ahead with a wrong booking. Remember, you guys had plenty of time to inform me as I’ve called you 2 times prior to my booking with several text messages, just to confirm my booking.

Please mark this; you LOST a loyal customer because of your untrained, rude staff. As long as these kinds of people work for your company more losses will follow in great numbers.

I wrote this so other people can know what to expect from this company. I am open for discussion about this matter with the owner or someone from the top management of paramour. In case if anyone responsible in this company (not the receptionist) tries to act upon this complain to rectify it, I will update it here. If there is nothing more to this review, this is the reality, one day you will face this same situation as a customer.

This is a pathetic answer from your side. Where is your answers for taking photographs of my payment instruments? Also what nonsense are you talking about not accepting debit cards? I already paid using a prepaid debit. You charged a credit card surcharge for a debit card. Maybe you dont know that CREDIT card surcharges are not applicable for DEBIT cards.
Also what on earth makes you think you can send who ever you want to customers without letting them know about any booking change. And also nobody told anything about a cash payment. I will upload the call recordings and share the links if you want here. I am sure you also has them with you,even you are pretending to know nothing. Then maybe you will understand how unprofessional your staffs are. Is this is what you call as customer service in paramour?? 😂😂
