"Friendly and reliable"

Friendly, reliable and always professional.
Would highly recommend CTB alarms whether is just be a service or new alarm system.

I recently updated the alarm system that they originally put on my property 8 years ago. Advice from start to finish was superb.
The engineer was extremely helpful showing how the system worked and setting it up on my device.

"CTB Alarms - Highly Recommend"

CTB Alarms is undoubtedly the best alarm company I have used over the years. The technology used is the latest and very smart plus the installation engineers are professional and polite. I did read some of the negative reviews before I used CTB but ignored them as they came highly recommended by a friend and to be honest, it sounds like a lot of people aren't sure what they are talking about but that is the problem with opinions or sounded like a profession swipe. I had the whole house alarmed which doesn't activate with pets and the app control on my phone is brilliant for setting at night and when I leave the house in a hurry. The whole process from start to finished product was faultless and I recommend CTB Alarms to my family and anyone who asks me about home security.

"I do not recommend CTB alarms,"

I do not recommend CTB alarms,
They fitted siren alarm battery for me and it only lasted 15 months, decided to change myself this time and noticed they had put in wrong battery, when I opened alarm cover batteries fell out and left hanging.also put their company stickers on my alarm system boxes without my permission.
Definitely do not recommend this company.

I purchased an alarm system from CTB Alarms in 2020 and have been servicing it annually ever since. Initially, I was enthusiastic about my decision, especially given CTB’s promises of high-quality security solutions tailored for families, including those with pets. However, my experiences over the past four years have left me feeling profoundly disappointed and disillusioned with the company.

**Service Experience and Costs:**
Every year, I’ve paid £95 for the annual service, and every two years, I incurred charges of £185 which included battery replacements. Over the course of ownership, this has added up significantly. While I understand that maintaining a reliable security system involves costs, I cannot help but feel that CTB has focused primarily on monetary gains rather than enhancing customer satisfaction.

Upon reaching out to CTB regarding various issues and concerns, I was often met with vague responses. When I brought up discrepancies in service and features that were originally promised, I was frequently told that what I had been informed was never said or that certain features simply did not exist. This lack of clarity quickly fostered a sense of mistrust, which only compounded my frustration.

**Product Suitability and Issues:**
A significant issue arose when I discovered that my sensors were unsuitable due to my pet. At the time of purchase, I was assured that the alarm system was pet-friendly. It was a shock to learn later that I would need to upgrade to pet-friendly sensors, with a quoted cost of over £500 for the replacements. This left me feeling betrayed, as I had entrusted CTB with my safety needs under the impression that their product was suitable for my living conditions.

Moreover, the revelation that my Visonic system is now considered obsolete and that CTB no longer supports this brand exacerbated my disappointment. Had I been made aware of the age or unsupported nature of the system at the time of purchase, I would have undoubtedly opted for a better, more advanced model that would have provided me with longevity and peace of mind.

**Customer Service and Communication:**
While my interactions with CTB staff, particularly Katie, have often been friendly, it is clear that the company's approach is inherently transactional. For loyal customers like myself, who have consistently serviced our systems, it was disheartening to hear that negotiation on pricing or discounts was not an option. This rigid stance felt counter to the expectations of long-term customer loyalty, and instead of feeling valued, I felt like only a number—a source of revenue.

**Conclusion and Compelling Decision:**
Ultimately, my dissatisfaction with CTB led me to make the difficult decision to replace the alarm system entirely. I sought out a different company that offers top-of-the-line technology, including comprehensive features such as door sensors, window sensors, and room sensors, all tailored to fit modern security needs. The level of customer service and professionalism I received from the new company has been a refreshing change, emphasizing customer satisfaction over purely financial transactions.

In retrospect, while I initially appreciated the product I purchased from CTB Alarms, the company’s inability to adapt and prioritize genuine customer care has been disappointing. I recommend potential customers thoroughly research alternatives, especially those that emphasize technology advancements and customer service, rather than becoming trapped in the cycle of unmet promises that I experienced.

Always a great service from CTB. All the staff are polite and professional with work undertaken to a high standard. The pricing is always transparent and fair. Highly recommended for servicing and installations.

Alarm became poorly.last night, call back from C,T,B this morning and,a engineer was arranged,repair and 2020 service combined,engineer quickly diagnosed and fixed ,many thanks to the whole C,T,B alarm team,well done all, !!
