I ordered the wrong size T-Shirt (xxs) emailed Gandy nothing was a problem and I received the xxl I required, love the product and service will recommend to all.

By far the worst bag I've ever owned.

First of all, Gandy's advertises as a travel and adventure brand. This should mean that their products are durable and practical and rugged enough for travel, however my Lofoten Backpack fell so short of this mark it was embarrassing. I should've picked up on the poorly designed compartments and just how many there were (and how awkwardly sized they were) before purchasing. The main problem arose from the absolutely disgraceful quality of this bag. The straps are thin and flimsy, the canvas is a horrible synthetic material and the bells and whistles throughout the bag provide a nice aesthetic but are awkwardly placed, dysfunctional and of poor build quality. The reason this bag was disposed of on my travels however was the zips. These have obviously (again) been chosen for their appearance, but they are sharp and unsmooth and every zip bar one (5 separate zips!) all failed within the first two weeks of using this bag. The bag was at half capacity and no stress was put on them but all failed within a day of each other and had me carrying my bag like a baby to avoid objects spilling out from all sides. A £5 replacement backpack carried me through the rest of my India trip with ease and put this £100 waste of material to shame.

Excellent quality, I bought the tote first for work and it is just what I needed, roomy and sturdy but stylish. I went back and bought the teal crossbody bag for day to day use and it is lovely. Beautifully made items and feel I definitely got what I paid for, very happy with both.

My Nepal coat seemed good at first, but it was very quickly apparent that the popper buttons were not well fitted. Two felt loose (collar and pocket) and one closed so tightly it felt as though opening the pocket risked ripping the material. Within a couple of wears (4 at most) one of the collar studs has fallen apart and one of the pocket studs isn't far behind. I've emailed Gandys for return and refund info but have not received a reply. The cost of the garment does not match the quality of the construction.
