"School Trip to India"

We were able to take forty students on a school trip to India thanks to the School Travel Company. What seemed like an ambitious but potentially very wonderful excursion was made possible by the support of the STC and particularly Andy who supported with bookings, itinerary, risk assessments and so much more. Onerous tasks were made manageable. The STC even took me out on an inspection visit to India ahead of the trip, which gave my Head Teacher and the parents a great amount of reasurance and really encouraged 'buy-in' from our school community. It also meant that when I got to India with the cohort, I was ready! In India, on the trip, we saw super things: Gandhi's House in Delhi; the spice market; the Taj Mahal; the Wagah Border; the Golden Temple; Partition Museum. We visited a small school in the Punjab which was very interesting for our pupils and us, the teachers, alike. The whole trip was a life-changing, life-affirming trip for our students. It was wonderful to see India resonate with them. The accommodation in Delhi was a tranquil spot in an otherwise hectic city and our haveli in Amritsar was a very special place. The food was fantastic. Boney and his team of four local guides were absolutely amazing, keeping arrangements smooth and all of us feeling safe and secure. Highly recommend. If you're thinking of a trip to India, it can be done!

"Highly recommend "

I have used The School Travel Company for several years, and the professionalism and efficiency of Kelly are the reasons I would not consider going anywhere else. Their prices competitive, competitive and they are always flexible with itinerary. I would highly recommend TSCT to any teacher.

"Poland"

From February 7th to February 10th, some of our Year 10 students embarked on an unforgettable educational trip to Poland, exploring its rich history, cultural heritage, and poignant past. This journey provided a profound learning experience, reinforcing the importance of remembrance, reflection, and respect.
Our adventure began on Friday, February 7th, as we gathered at London Luton Airport for an early morning departure to Kraków. Upon arrival, we wasted no time immersing ourselves in Poland’s unique history, heading straight to the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine. Students were captivated by the vast underground chambers, intricate salt carvings, and the breathtaking Chapel of St. Kinga.
Saturday was a day of exploration, beginning with a guided walking tour through Kazimierz and Podgórze, two historically significant districts in Kraków. The students gained a deeper understanding of the Jewish community’s history and the impact of World War II. Our visit to the Galicia Jewish Museum further enriched their knowledge, offering powerful exhibitions that showcased the resilience and cultural contributions of Polish Jews. After lunch, we continued to the renowned Schindler Factory, where students learned about Oskar Schindler’s heroic efforts to save lives during the Holocaust.
Sunday was undoubtedly the most moving and reflective day of our journey. We traveled to Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp: the site of the mass murder of approximately 1.1 million people in a factory of death, where an English-speaking guide led us through a 3.5-hour tour of one of history’s darkest sites. This visit was an emotional experience for all, highlighting the importance of remembrance and educating future generations about the atrocities of the Holocaust. It was just a few weeks after the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz on 27th January 2025. After lunch, we had the extraordinary opportunity to meet Stefania Wernik, a living witness of these historical events. Her story, shared through a translator, left a lasting impact on our students, providing a personal connection to history that they will never forget.

"Krakow, 2024"

We used the company for a trip to Krakow, Poland and it was great. The accomodation we requested was ideal and all the acitivites were well enjoyed by students. The coach company we had out there were always on time and students really enjoyed our trip. We fitted plenty in and the price was better than anywhere else we looked.

"Outstanding CERN, Geneva School Trip"

We have used the company on a previous trip and they were excellent. It happened to be when FlyB went bust and they helped all 25 of the group return on the same day on another flight and sorted all the financial implications too! This time round, whilst we thankfully did not have the same airline issues, it was great to know they were available 24/7 if needed.
We changed a few things for the Geneva trip this year, and the recommendations and bookings made by The School Travel Company were great. It was useful to deal primarily with one contact (Corinne), but others were able to assist whenever necessary. From flights, UN Headquarter booking, to meals in the evening, accommodation and the Red Cross/Crescent museum, all were booked, information provided and itinerary checked to ensure that it was much easier to run the trip.
As the trip leader, I would fully recommend the company and it was also great value for money.

"Do NOT book with these people!"

Awful accomodation. Worse than a youth hostel. Poo stained sheets. Room stank of rank sewerage, couldnt breathe the smell was so bad! Food was slopped onto plates after having to queue up like Oliver Twist. It was also cold and inedible. Some people got food poisoning. Some nights it took nearly 3 hours for food to arrive. Stuck with all school kids in accomodation on a school trip. No lift so carrying heavy cases up and down stairs.
When 5 families complained they couldnt care less and refused to refund.

"Fantastic trip!"

The school Travel Company have once more put together a fantastic itinerary for my students, who spent five days in Normandy. From planning to delivery, they have delivered some excellent outcomes, they are easy to communicate to and very organised. I was very reassured that they managed to pre-empty some of the worries that I had regarding the volatile situation in Calais last July and they booked us in on a ferry from Dunkirk, which meant no hassle for us! Thank you!

"Brilliant!"

Everything about the trip, from the driver to the hotel to arriving at the different attractions we had booked was brilliant, really hassle free.

Lauren (our booking contact) was an absolute star from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

Will definitely be using STC for our next trip!
