Recently, I noticed that time was catching up with me, so I decided to talk to Dr. John and Dr. Rachel about facial treatments Quinn Clinics could offer a mixed-race man in his mid-40s to help refresh my appearance. During my consultation, I was offered the opportunity to have a 3D photo done, and it was here that Dr. Racheal was able to highlight noticeable signs of ageing. As part of my treatment plan, it was suggested that my initial treatment should be the Morpheus 8, and WOW, I can’t recommend it enough—especially for those with mixed-race skin like mine. Initially, I was concerned about how my skin would react, but the results have been transformative! Dr. Racheal explained that Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency, targeting deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production, which in turn helps present a more youthful appearance.

From the moment I arrived at the clinic on the day of my treatment, the staff was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the process, addressing all my concerns about skin tone and potential side effects. This level of care immediately put me at ease.

The treatment itself was quick and straightforward. A numbing cream was applied to my face, and I felt like I had been to visit the dentist. During the Morpheus 8 treatment, I felt only minimal discomfort. Post-treatment, I experienced some mild redness and swelling, which, again, I expected as it was explained this is typical of any microneedling procedure. Still, these effects subsided within a couple of days. The real magic happened around the one-week mark. My skin began to look smoother, tighter, and more even-toned. Not only did the fine lines around my eyes and mouth diminish, but my cheekbones also appeared more defined, giving me a more chiselled look. The neck and jawline enhancements were particularly impressive; I noticed a significant improvement in their prominence, making me feel much more confident.

What stood out the most was how well the treatment catered to my unique skin characteristics. Finding professionals who understand the nuances of mixed-race skin is crucial, and I was in good hands throughout the process. I am now super excited for my next treatment phase where my jawline and chin will be enhanced with filling agents.
