My experience with A24 Group has been nothing but frustrating. After finally completing their “enhanced compliance”—a process that dragged on for six long months due to their poor coordination, during which I lost track of who was handling my case—I was extremely disappointed to learn that they had no shifts available for me. According to their consultants, their clients prefer staff who have previously worked with them, leaving new registrants like myself with virtually no opportunities.

Booking a shift through their app is a total nightmare. Consultants either ignore your requests, respond with “no longer available,” or give vague replies like “you’ll be proposed and booked if accepted,” which usually means the shift won’t happen. This whole process of trying to get a shift has been incredibly frustrating.

Since becoming compliant two months ago, I’ve only worked one shift—just one! And that was only after a lengthy, exhausting conversation with one of their out-of-hours consultants. They do offer new staff shifts, but at such low rates that it’s almost insulting. Looking at the app, these shifts often go unfilled, and the app itself does not accurately reflect the actual work they can offer. It’s all very selective.

I worked with this agency a decade ago, and while there was some favouritism back then, the situation has drastically worsened. A24 Group has become one of the most frustrating agencies to deal with. I’m giving up on trying to work with them. They have wasted so much of my time. I strongly advise others to avoid this agency.

By the way, it appears to me that the high reviews for this agency are manipulated to create a falsely positive impression, as I have come across many other negative reviews online from people who have had similar experiences to mine with this company. Absolute disgrace!

It has been an amazing experience working with A24 for some years now. I am particularly impressed with the swift responses through either via email or work whatsapp chat through which queries are resolve asap. The company also ensures staff are up to date with relevant trainings to enable them match the numerous complex nature of support they render and also remain abreast with new legislations.
Kudos to all the shift coordinators i have worked with so far, in a very specially way, i wish to commend Lorane Chinoingira for always being proactive and dedicated in her duties of ensuring staff on the field get motivation and support needed to carry on their duties. She has a beautiful talent in managing team members and ensuring everybody works as a team in delivering the required support to our clients.
Lastly, i would recommend A24 consider mileage payment where necessary to ensure continuous and smooth field operation.

I am happy to continue my work with A24 because of amazing staff like Lorane who has shown high level of professionalism, dedication and commitment to ensuring all staff are happy while working. These includes ensuring all staff are compliant and qualified to work at a particular setting. She ensures timesheets are approved on time and wages paid on time. She ensures fair shifts allocation to all staff. Her leadership quality is second to none. More-so, I appreciate the opportunity A24 company gives to enable staff accumulate their leave hour which they can apply to be paid when they are not working which is not obtainable with some agencies. Kudos to A24 group as I will recommend everyone to choose A24 group as a company to work with.
