I was a student at Vj Academy in 2012, and what an amazing ride it has been! It’s a crash course in all kinds of software, a chance to meet cool likeminded people and an opportunity to visit the craziest parties you might not normally attend (or visit the parties you like, but backstage). Compared to my time at an art academy it’s wáy more efficient and extremely more affordable. At the end of the ride you can be pretty sure you’ll have more than enough work in the field through veejays.com, and you'll have an instant network of extremely knowledgeable people. So if you’re interested in either animation/live performance/3d/art/technology you will certainly stand a chance of being selected. It certainly helps if you have a background in any of these fields. I wish more companies would share their knowledge in this manner. If you are in any way interested, don’t sit on this. The workshop is a fun day, the auditions are exhilarating and being allowed into the course feels like winning the lottery. Am I hyping this up too much? I might, but there’s no way you can get this kind of education/experience anywhere else, and that’s a fact.
