Una grande esperienza. L'impatto del settore alimentare sull'ambiente e la salute dei consumatori è affrontabile da tanti punti di vista quanti sono i passaggi che vanno dal campo alla tavola . Questo corso offre una visione d'insieme grazie anche ai contributi di ospiti come il professor Jeffrey Sachs (Columbia University), Stephen Ritz ( Green Bronx Machine), Nicola Giuggioli ( Quinto Sapore) e molti altri.
Non meno importante è stato il confronto con gli altri partecipanti del corso. Esperienze , professioni, culture e lingue diverse, sono tutte state un enorme stimolo per uscire dalla mia bolla e scoprire quante persone hanno a cuore questi temi e hanno voglia di mettersi in gioco.

It is a great mix between self paced module and engagement with industry experts. EIIS brings on really brilliants professionals from academia to real like business owners that seamlessly take us from theory to practice across the various key issues and points of intervention in the food system. I learnt a lot and am still digesting the lessons which I am confident will strengthen my skills to push boundaries in the workplace.

This is my second experience with EIIS programs, and I can honestly say that this is a place where you truly feel a sense of familiarity. The Food & Sustainability certificate program has given me a great opportunity to find inspiration both personally and professionally. Meeting people from all over the world, listening to their experiences and dedication—this is what I value the most!
As a young and highly dedicated person who is always striving toward my life and career goals, what I appreciate the most is diversity (as I often say! 😊). For me, this is the key to growth. Listening to the professionals involved in the program has been a significant step toward my future career.
And Sveva, our beautiful coordinator, makes the experience even more welcoming with her infinite smile.

Partecipare a questo corso è stata un’esperienza arricchente, in cui si ha l’opportunità di confrontarsi con persone di culture, origini e professionalità diverse. E proprio attraverso la condivisione e la discussione si riesce ad andare oltre le proprie convinzioni e a osservare le cose da nuovi punti di vista. In più, l’atmosfera che si crea tra tutti i partecipanti, culminando nell’esperienza onsite, rende tutto ancora più coinvolgente.

It's been a month since I graduated from the EIIS - European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability "Food & Sustainability Certificate Program" and what an incredible journey it has been! Here are key take ways I'd like to share:
The program provided outstanding and extensive content covering data, metrics, insights, tools, methodologies, and impactful initiatives from key opinion leaders worldwide.
Meeting all my fellow students during our time in Rome was the best part. The insightful discussions we had together were truly invaluable.
The highlight was the on-site experience at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and visiting the Quintosapore sustainable farm led by Nicola Giuggioli and his brother, who are true pioneers in shaping the future of sustainable farming. Simply outstanding!
In conclusion, this program has helped me understand my role in driving sustainable change and reinforced the power of collaboration in achieving our goals.

It was an amazing program, it gave us the opportunity to learn and discuss the most crucial issues related to the Agri-food system with professionals of many areas within the latter. Moreover, the challenge made us concretely implement different tools to create a sustainable food project in order to help indigenous communities. Final remark: amazing classmates!

After months of online lessons, where everyone could individually delve deeper into the most interesting/related topics for their own business, team work helped in the search for sustainable solutions by combining different backgrounds and skills. The well-organized on-site experience in Rome, with the session at Ifad in particular, closed the course in the best possible way.

The Food and Sustainability Program has equipped me with a deeper understanding of the food system, its challenges, and potential solutions. The program has empowered me to emerge as a young leader in agriculture, food, and sustainability, leveraging business and technology to drive impact in Nigeria and Africa through learnings and our project HerLand, which aims to enable rural female farmers to access land and knowledge seamlessly.
Thank you for the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and build a network of friends who share my passion. I look forward to future endeavors, including pursuing my Master's in Sustainable AgriFood System Management and the upcoming Fellowship Program.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to EIIS for this transformative experience. I am proud to be an EIIS alumnus, and I am eager to face the challenges ahead, armed with the knowledge, skills, and network gained from this program.

It was an educational and exciting experience, each lesson revealed different aspects of our food system, highlighting its criticalities and the many potential solutions we are pursuing to heal this broken system. Each guest offered enlightening information from long experience. The best thing about the course, however, were the fellow participants I had the pleasure of meeting during the onsite-experience, exceptional people from all over the world and with very different backgrounds, it was great to meet so many people who share a single interest, namely sustainability, innovation and transformation of our food system.
