mobile phone not accepted , contract cancelled with propel finance who confirmed in writing that the contract had been cancelled now I am being chased for arrears ! avoid this company at all costs as they have very poor communication skills and clearly lack of contract law

Rip off finance house, organised a lease with Propel Finance via Berry Telecom for a £700 phone and then Propel wanted best part of £400 to insure the phone for two years, avoid company and unreal charges.

"This has been a horrific experience"
This has been a horrific experience. I entered into a contract with Reach Digital to supply phones in my office. I don't know how it came about but according to them I'd signed a contract for 7 years in all my business life I have never done this. Then I'm faced with a bill of over £200 per month for 7 years for equipment that will never be mine. I've checked on the internet and it's lucky if the equipment comes to £2k. There must be a way of stopping this absolutely diabolical situations happening. I told both companys that I closed the office on 1st June 2019 but because I'm still registered in Companies House as I have other interests they won't accept the fact I no longer use the office even tho no phone or internet has been used.

Had an email out of the blue, saying as a company we owed money for an Iphone rental, nice try but we don't rent any iphones.......No explanation, no reply from anyone & the guy wouldn't speak to me without me giving my address........Avoid this company at all costs, don't open any attachments

"I am a victim of Essential Coffee + Henry Howard Finance"
I am a victim of Essential Coffee Machines who got financed by Henry Howard, that is Propel Finance's previous name. Cannot imagine how they financed a coffee machine worth a few hundred pounds to the tune of over £6000?
I believe that they acted unlawfully and we deserve a refund + compensation from Propel Finance. Further, they should be investigated by regulatory authorities.
I am in the process of taking legal advice and perhaps, I will initiate a compensation claim against them soon.

An update to my 24/05/21 review:
Just got a call from Propel's customer services department. More fool me for not paying enough attention but for finance on three iPhones (XR, 8 and 7), started 2 odd years ago, via IceComms, it will cost us circa £4,600. They offered an £80 reduction off this to settle the account. Evidently I am an idiot. Don't be one yourself and avoid working with this company.

As per other negative reviews. Awful, they financed substandard coffee machines. Cant even reply within the 8 weeks when I complained to the ombudsman. They show such disregard for customers, the financial rules and customer service. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! I have contacted financial ombudsman not that propel care, I urge anyone with a complaint to do the same, Awful company
