"Do not waste your time"
Contacted them to put in a claim after a recommendation in July 2022.
All seemed well, handed all paperwork over & had a quote come back for how much I should expect after a month. I then received an email saying that I wouldn’t be getting the money anymore as the process had changed.
Then had to submit more paper work as giving my whole finance history seemly wasn’t enough already. Sent 4 emails to Aaron Norton and rang in twice for an update and got no response.
Go to my diesel claims instead - you actually get timescales given and are able to speak to people!

Made my claim on 8th of August, and I’ve been informed that usually takes around 2/3 weeks to receive the initial assessment. On the 11th of September as I had received any update I’ve sent an email to Ashleigh who only replied to me on the 22nd of September to inform me the solicitor has lost funding for pursuing my case “McDermott Smith has lost funding for pursuing claims and have informed us that yours is a claim they will no longer be pursuing. Not that it isn’t liable for claim but purely. You're 1 of 4000 clients this has sadly affected. To rub more salt in the wounds they weren't planning on making us aware or yourselves for that matter.
Firstly can I apologise on behalf of Clear Money Claims for the inconvenience as this is something which is out of our control.
Going forward however we will need to complete further checks to be able to establish the best course of action for your case. Doing this will give us the best chance of your claim being successful and also allowing you to get as much back as possible too. Just to reiterate we are confident that you do have a claim to pursue here, and fully intend on doing so.”
From that date until today the 22nd of November I’ve not received any update at all, tried to send another email but no answer at all
