"Fantastic booking at a lovely home"

I had a great experience booking a home through Plum Guide. It was simple, with no surprise fees and our host was very responsive and accommodating.

The house was immaculate and very well appointed. They do a great job at vetting properties to ensure you'll enjoy your stay.

I booked 7 mths in advance to stay one week in Paris. 1 mth before departure the booking was cancelled. It took 3 weeks for a refund. Finding alternative accommodation was compromised because of the short notice. We ended up splitting our stay between 2 hotels. Zero stars, I do not recommend.

HOSTS BE AWARE OF UNPAID RENT - I am a host and I have experienced an unpaid rent from Plum Guide. The Plum Guide guest stayed 1.5 month, the Guest has left and the Host did not receive the rent from Plum Guide after the Guest departure. During this time, no one has gotten back to me with a clear answer despite my multiple warnings and follows-up. Plum Guide did not take its responsability to issue the payout to the Host. This is an unacceptable situation. No Excuse. Words do not matter, results matter. If you list your property with Plum Guide, be aware it can also happen to you. Booking PZ639C.

It was as beautiful as the pictures. I was very pleasantly surprised.
Wonderful quiet location with access to all amenities via walk or taxi.
Very modern amenities in the house, although it was a very beautiful cotswolds stone house

I’m a host and had our first booking with plum guide in mid June. Fast forward 6 weeks, after 5 calls, and we still haven’t been paid. Now going through the legal route and will imminently be sending a letter before action for small claims court. Avoid as a host.

I had a fabulous stay. It was very peaceful and private so I was able to entirely relax. Well equipt with everything I needed and I was welcomed with fizz and shortbread, some milk in the fridge. The entire place was extremely comfortable with heating flooring throughout, lovely when walking barefoot. Very well thought out and designed with attention to the smallest detail.
