"Everest Base Camp"

Rajkumar Karki was an executional guide ! Time and time again I found myself at the end of the group and he always stayed with me the entire time. I was slow and had to take many breaks but he was so sweet and accommodating. He wouldn’t linger and allowed me to walk my pace. His positive attitude is what really stood out. He was constantly encouraging a good attitude and it really did show in our progress. Raj was so knowledgeable about the mountains and the places we were stopping and it was always a fun little lesson. Overall he did an amazing job and made everyone feel welcome. He was a great guide and he made our group feel whole. Thank you Raj !

"EBC Base Camp - had an incredible time thanks to our guide Rajkumar "

I had the most incredible time completing the EBC trek with my group all thanks to my guides Rajkumar and Kali. They were extremely knowledgeable about the trek, cared about the well-being of all group members and were very organised and accomodating. I would 100% recommend Ace the Himalaya and Rajkumar as a guide for anyone interested in trekking in Nepal! Special shout-out to our porter Govinda for looking after us. Thanks once again Rajkumar for always helping us stay positive and being the best guide!

"An awesome trek"

Ace the Himalayas rock and so does our guide Sushanta. Our assistant guide Kumar and all the helpers including Hari, Sumant, Milan, Hem and everyone. Sushanta set the perfect pace from the very beginning and the way he arranged us to fly from Janakpur to Lukla is really commendable. He was there every step of the trek to guide and to help us. He is the real star of the trek. Kumar, Hari, Milan and Sumant all went beyond their call of duty to be there to help us in any way possible. The trip was not easy but definitely lovely. Our whole group was just amazing and each and everyone was very considerate of the needs of others. We named it Jam- Jam ( Nepali word) group. We definitely made the memories of a lifetime and many amazing new friends. We are still on WhatsApp group and still sharing memories. We will definitely recommend Ace the Himalayas and once again Sushanta, thank you for making ours into a wonderful trek. Looking forward for your guidance and friendship sometime, somewhere again. Keep up the great work you are doing 👍

"Exceptional Company"

I highly recommend ACE the Himalaya. They offer exceptional customer service from first contact till the end of your trek. They are very professional.

When enquiring about the trek my initial contact was with Prem whom I found very efficient answering my emails promptly and in great detail.
I was lucky enough to have Pasang as my guide, what a legend. He was able to answer my many questions throughout the trek and offer local knowledge about the many villages and Nepalese culture. He took great care of us, with our accommodation, food and health, checking oxygen levels daily to ensure we were acclimatising ok.
Our porters Rabin and Pradip carried our bags, not an easy task, they were very caring and I enjoyed our many conversations.
All round an amazing experience, I made it to Everest Base camp due to the support and care from the team at ACE the Himalaya.

I would definitely use ACE again. Namaste.

"Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp: Beauty Meets Basic"

**Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp: A Ruggedly Beautiful Adventure**

**Guide:** Our trek to Annapurna Base Camp was led by Pasang, a guide whose understanding and accommodating nature truly enhanced our experience. Pasang's ability to adjust the pace and itinerary to suit our group's comfort was invaluable, especially given the physical challenges we faced. Pasang shortened our trekking days by our request so we can spend more days in Pokhara.

**Trail Conditions:** The trek itself was a test of endurance. The trails were often steep and rugged, with sections where the stairs seemed endless. A notable mention must go to the frequent presence of animal dung on these stairs, which added an element of surprise (and sometimes, a need for careful stepping) to our journey.

**Physical Challenge:** Physically, this trek pushed our limits. The altitude, combined with the demanding terrain, made for a challenging adventure. It's not an undertaking for the faint-hearted but is incredibly rewarding for those who seek a test of their physical capabilities.

**Facilities:** The accommodations and dining along the route were basic, reflecting the remote nature of the trek. The inns provided the necessities, though comfort was minimal. Expect simple, shared accommodations, often with thin walls and basic bedding. The toilets were, in a word, rustic. They were functional but offered little in the way of luxury or privacy, which was quite an adventure in itself.

**Cuisine:** Food was adequate, with local dishes being the highlight. Meals were simple, warm, and served the purpose of refueling after long days of trekking. Don't come expecting gourmet dining, but the dal bhat and fried noodled became comforting staples by the end of our journey.

**Scenery:** The crown jewel of this trek is undoubtedly the scenery. The view of Annapurna and the surrounding peaks is nothing short of spectacular. Each day brought new vistas, with the mountain range often looming majestically over us, offering breathtaking panoramas that made every step worthwhile. But unfortunately, the amazing view live shortly (a couple hours) because soon it was covered by fog.

**Overall:** Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp is not for everyone, but for those who choose to undertake it, the experience is deeply enriching. The physical challenge, combined with basic living conditions, contrasts sharply with the sublime beauty of the Himalayas. If you're prepared for a rugged adventure with moments of profound natural beauty and are led by a guide like Pasang, this trek can be a highlight of your travel experiences. Just remember to pack your sense of humor for the toilets and a good pair of trekking shoes for the stairs!

"Amazing EBC Trek expereince - Thanks to ACE the Himalaya Group!"

We had an incredible experience on the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek. The support from our trip organizer, Ace the Himalaya, was outstanding. Our guides, Ram, Kalika, and the rest of the team, went above and beyond to ensure the trek was smooth and enjoyable. On Day 7, we encountered a severe snowstorm, but thanks to the guidance and assistance of the Ace the Himalaya team, we were able to push through and complete the trek. I highly recommend Ace the Himalaya and will definitely choose them for my next adventure in Nepal.

"Adventure of a lifetime "

I had a wonderful experience doing Everest Base Camp Trek with Ace The Himalayas. Our guide Maddy and assistant guide Jit were there every step of the way to make the experience seemless whether it was proactively ensuring we had enough water, giving us accurate recommendations for what was ok to eat, debriefing us every evening with the events of the day as well as what was to expect the next day and more. To me it felt like all I had to do was focus on the walking and the breathtaking views.

One night before our arrival to Everest Base Camp we were hit with one of the biggest snowstorms in recent memory and as a result we had to turn back in order to prioritize our safety. Maddy, Jit and the porters (Hira, Kumar, Basanta, Hemanta, Sabin, Dil) were extremely responsive and safety-oriented. Within minutes they had a plan for returning to a nearby town and reserving our beds for that night. The porters carried our bags through a snow storm making this difficult and potentially dangerous situation feel much more innocuous than it would have been without their expert judgement and execution.

Overall, the trip was a blast and even though we didn’t make it to base camp (nobody did that week because they closed it), I felt like the journey itself had already been worth it because of all the fun, laughter and breathtaking views we shared along the way. I feel extremely grateful to Ace the Himalayas for this adventure of a lifetime and I would recommend any of their trips because I’m now familiar with the team’s passion and their commitment to providing a fantastic outdoor experience in even the most challenging situations. Once again a massive, heartfelt thank you to Maddy, Jit, Hira, Kumar, Basanta, Hemanta, Sabin and Dil
