"Great Experience"

I would like to share my experience with Diamond Star. Only my second cruise and first on a small boat cruise plus talking two other couples into joining us. They where entrusting a lot of money in me, needless to say I'm was very nervous. Let me be the first to say D. Star far exceeded all expectations. All transfers were on time through out the trip, hotels they had picked for us were outstanding. Diamond Star and the people, (Alan and Oguzhan) get a 5+ star rating from us and the other two couples. I will defiantly use Diamond Star in the future.

We have recently returned from a 16 night trip to Istanbul / Ephasus / Gocek .
Akin and Ozughan (who we dealt with throughout) arranged a perfect ,seamless trip for us . The hotels particularly The Four Seasons in Istanbul and D - Resort in Gocek were of the highest standard .Our room was upgraded on arrival in Istanbul which was a bonus .
Diamond Stars local agents were not only efficient and timely they were also charming . We had the same driver from Izmir , around Selçuk and Ephasus and to Gocek .He looked after us extremely well even bringing snacks and drinks for the 4 hour journey to the coast .
Our guide for the day in Ephasus was highly knowledgeable both of the area and its history . He took us for lunch to a small restaurant a little away from the tourist traps around Ephasus .
I would not hesitate to recommend this friendly, specialist company to anyone

"Istanbul and Cappadocia in…"

We went to Istanbul and Cappadocia in Turkey last October 2023 with Diamond Star experience. The hotels in both the centres we're excellent. The hotel in Istanbul was only a 10-minute walk from the famous Hagia Sofia mosque and other famous sites. The cave hotel in Cappadocia was a fantastic experience, roomy and luxurious. The food in the cave hotel in Cappadocia was authentic and excellent. I felt that in both sites we were being looked after by the local travel companies through which Diamonds Start operated. The tours in Cappadocia were excellent and tailored to suit our needs. I'm going to book again this year through Diamond Star because I believe they are a very professional outfit, with high standards and they look after their clients very well. Thank you, Roger Green.

The most ignorant, arrogant, miserable hostile captain anyone could imagine. crew and chef were amazing the whole of the time and nothing was too much trouble. They certainly deserve a captain who behaves like a captain. He did not explain where we were or any information on the different islands we visited. He shouted at us to remove our footwear but kept his on constantly. dressed like a tramp with shabby old shorts with holes in them. Helped himself to breakfast before any of the guests helped themselves to theirs. He was not happy if any of the guests stayed up after he went to bed. most of the time whilst not sailing he was in his cabin. after complaints were made he did appear in reasonable shorts and a polo shirt, all too little too late. all 12 of our group were amazed that a captain could behave in this manner. He is not fit for the post. We all felt so sorry for the wonderful crew having to work with him. we may as well have thrown our hard-earned money into the sea. in the future, we will more more selective when choosing a travel company. I feel sorry for all the future passengers who have to endure such unprofessional conduct.

Unreliable, unprofessional, over-priced, bad service from start to finish. Nothing booked overseas when we arrived. Avoid at all costs.

I’ve just returned from a week on seyhan cann, I’ve sailed on Turkish gulets before but this was very much a upgrade on them, I met some lovely people on board my cabin was a highly polished room of teak wood the hallway leading to all cabins seemed it like it had just been varnished absolutely stunning, i had 3 meals a day all excellent food,the captains wife was a amazing cook I could not fault one meal in the whole 7 days,the weather was excellent and and the little bays the captain finds for you for sunbathing on deck or swimming the beautiful azure seas if your lucky the captain knows where the turtles are we was lucky we saw one, but of course this cannot be guaranteed I had a fabulous week the gulet made the holiday,the size of Seyan cann is much larger than ones I’ve been on before, so summing up a lovely week,from start to finish the private transfer both ways was first class, the gulet was first class, food first class and the captain knowing the little bays where sometimes you are the only boat in the bay was amazing, thank you lynne for arranging my cruise

"Fantastic bespoke experience"

Lynne put together a fantastic bespoke itinerary for us to visit Cappodoccia. We loved it all, transfers and flights worked seamlessly, the cave hotel (MDC) was traditional and lovely with really helpful staff. Unfortunately, the balloon trip was cancelled due to wind but sunset horse-riding was a delight. Best of all, our guide and driver (Emri and Mustafa) could not do enough to make our visit interesting and fun. We highly recommend Diamond Star and would definitely use them again.
