"Higley recommended, great service and fairly priced"

Our family chose Rushton's because their prices were quite a bit lower than other funeral directors we had contacted for quotes. I have to say, the service we received at Rushton's was exceptional. We were kept updated on every step of the process and nothing was too much trouble. I found it really helpful to be able to contact the office through their WhatsApp, if we had any quick queries they were responded to quickly without having to telephone or email.
The care shown towards our late mother was so lovely. I can't rate Rushton's highly enough. Thank you so much for helping us at the saddest of times.

The service we received before and after was superb, our family honestly cannot thank Luke and everyone at Rushton's enough. They took time to listen to you, and nothing was too much trouble.
They are highly professional, and you can tell they care about what they do. They took the time to make myself & my sister more at ease when talking about the service at this difficult time.

"10/10 Service"

I had such a different experience with Luke and his family than I did with the more commercial funeral directors my mother chose for my father a few years back.
With Rushton's, any and every request was met with patience and understanding. Luke even made me feel like what I was asking was all totally normal - but I am sure it wasn't!
I was the nightmare client doing everything at the last minute, texting Luke with music updates at close to midnight on the night before the service; suddenly wanting to see mum one last time on the day of the funeral etc.
I was also trying to make a memorial book for my mother and Luke coordinated that with the printers they use in Ripon...yet another cost-efficient and incredibly caring service.
But aside from for all of that, it was the kindness and compassion with which Luke dealt with mother when in his care that was particularly touching.
And there were SO many comments at the funeral about the feeling of respect shown towards her...
Whilst the company dealing with my father did a very professional job on the day, I remember no spontaneous comments like that - somehow there was just a very different level of personal care and service involved here.
In other words, do not even waste time thinking about going anywhere else. Put your trust in Luke and his family and they will take care of you and your loved one.
