This course is a game changer if you have Type 1 and are wanting to continue with competitive sports. The following day after the course my son played a full game of rugby. We implemented just some of what we had learned and for the first time since diagnosis he did not have repeated hypos during the night.
It has given us knowledge and confidence. We cannot recommend this course enough!

I attended the one day EXTOD Adults with Type 1 Diabetes Conference event in Bristol. The information was really well put together and presented. It was a great opportunity to share lived experiences and challenges with other “TODs”, about exercising and managing blood glucose levels before, during and after exercise.

The agenda was stuck to and information resources shared after the event as promised. A big thank you to the HCPs and staff who put this on. It was really informative and I look forward to putting what I’ve learned to practice.
