Deceptive Billing Practices and Poor Communication

I had a terrible experience with this company due to their deceptive subscription and billing practices. I signed up for a 14-day trial that was supposed to cost $1.95, but I was never notified or informed about recurring charges after the trial period ended. Without any warning or communication, I was charged $179.40 this year and another charge last year that I wasn’t even aware of.

When I contacted customer support, they claimed the QR code was scanned seven times—something I wasn’t even aware of—and used that as justification for the excessive charges. Their pricing terms state $39 every four weeks, but the charge amounts don’t even match their advertised plans.

Even worse, I did not receive a single email about these recurring charges, no reminders, no invoices, and no way to prevent these charges. This is predatory behavior, designed to trap customers with hidden fees and unfair billing practices.

While they eventually refunded the most recent charge and canceled my subscription after I complained, they refused to refund the earlier unauthorized charge. This experience has left me extremely disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone. If you value transparency and fair billing, stay far away from this company.

This is a scam. They charge for a custom QR code and then backdoor you on a subscription. When you cancel the $39/ month subscription, your code no longer works. Shady.
