Had a sewage smell in a downstairs room for 3 years, had dyno rod out twice to flush the drains and inspect with a camera but the problem remained. Called George as he was the only one who did smoke tests which found the problem very quickly - an unused sewage pipe that hadn’t been capped off allowing the odour to track back into the room , (had been told by dyno rod this was already blocked). He returned a few days later, had to get down a 7ft deep manhole and capped off the pipe, sewage smell gone immediately. Fantastic.
