We have had 2.5 year of hell with this company. Customer care is a joke. Broken promise after broken promise. Even used the death of ceo as the excuse

We weren’t looking to buy a new build based on the poor reputation of new houses in general, but the design of this house was the only one that came close to what we were looking for. The whole experience from viewing to moving and settling in was surprisingly stress free. Tina made sure to set the right expectations and Sam certainly overdelivered. A couple of minor snags were resolved immediately and everyone we met in the process were proactive, professional, and pleasant to deal with.
Overall, we had no major issues, no complaints about the finish or quality, and we really appreciate the extra time and attention from the people on site.
We haven’t had to contact Customer Care yet but if Tina and Sam are any representation of the Backhouse way of doing things then we’d be checking out the new Backhouse developments first if we ever decided to move.

"Gutted I cant leave my full review"
Gutted I cant leave my full review! Houses look lovely however design issues Poor fittings, poor finish, lack of accountability, customer service non existent, environmental planing not adhered to, and as a shared ownership owner feel as though been left to the wayside! To quote a friend you get more protection buying a £20 kettle than buying a £200-£400’000+house some very unhappy people on this development. Drop me a line for my full review!

"Dreams do come true"
Right from the very first visit, we were made to feel very welcome. Tina was always willing to give that extra bit of effort to ensure we knew what we wanted and led us through the process in obtaining our dream home.
Tina was there on move in day, to welcome us and check everything was in order. Constantly checking and answering any questions we had.
The on-site manager Sam, has been very responsive in answering any concerns we have and has made our settling in very smooth. He has been proactive in resolving any issues that we have encountered, and his after care service is a credit to him and the way he manages his teams.
Recognition of Sam and Tina’s service gives confidence in the Callaway Gardens Backhouse team. We are still in awe on the house and look forward to spending many years enjoying living on the estate.
