We had a wonderful experience with Advocate Abroad. Cansu Balcı was professional, organized, efficient, and so helpful at every step of the way. I felt fully supported through the entire process — she truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

"Stay away from Oscar Vaello Monllau"

Nothing went right- Oscar was entrusted to manage a simple contractual civil case. Long story short he failed to submit a single piece of evidence, ignored my requests for status updates and the case was lost costing me 19000 euros, on top of this when I refused to pay any further fees he sued me for the legal fees for the case. This is worse than any scam as the legal system is supposed to protect all individuals but it protects lawyers more.

I complained to Advocate Abroad who came back with a brief statement that they have presented the facts of the case to other lawyers in their network and they agreed that they would have done the same thing, therefore exonerating Oscar of any malpractice.

Brief conclusion: you should NEVER trust a attorney from advocateabroad ! DO NOT send money to them !

I hired a Turkish attorney named Kubra Keskin from advocateabroad.com

The reason why I choose advocateabroad is ( at the end, neither of them turns out to be true):

1. They offer high standard English service

2. If you have trouble with your attorney, they will protect your interests

I send 1k USD as first payment to Kubra, However, things went wrong at the first stage:

She can't deliver a qualified POA, didn't even happy to devote time to fix it. There was too many word & grammar errors that I cannot have it translated and notarized.

After being stuck for several months, I ask her to end the contract and make the refund, She said its my fault and TOOK ALL ME MONEY !

Then I made a complaint to advocateabroad, thinking they could offer help and they simply turned me down.

in fact, If you are thinking they have some control over the lawyer registered on their platform, you are wrong. Instead, you should always find an escrow before everything start. Up till now, they still try to hide from this after I wrote an negative review on google.

"Appalling service and questionable legal advice."

Once I paid my retainer my advocat was very difficult to get hold of. When I complained there was a flurry of activity and my advocat sent a half finished draft to opposing counsel without consulting me. This caused a huge amount of damage and has made me look like I was negotiating in bad faith. He initially apologised for getting mixed up and then retracted his apology. When I tried to take it up with the company they have blanked me and I've not had a response. Neither have I had a partial refund which was initially agreed. Avoid at all costs. If I could give negative stars I would - one star is far too generous.
