Great products, excellent service

"Had to return pillows, no refund yet"

We bought two pillows on 25 October, because we wanted to go natural and support a UK business. Ordering was easy and delivery was reasonably fast, considering the size of the company and the production process. Unfortunately, we had to return the products due to the pillows' unexpected firmness and a rather strong unpleasant odour (apparently it is to be expected from a natural product, but it was too strong for our liking). The company offers no free returns, which is fair enough. We were happy to pay the postage for the return. The returned products were delivered to the company on 1 November. Yet, we still have not received the promised refund after more than two weeks now. Overall, a mixed experience and not a very good one if a product is returned as in our case. Beware, if you are not certain these types of products are for you. I give two stars because of the overall experience so far.

A great service and product from Penrose. After a lot of research we opted for the alpaca duvet and pillow set.
I was sceptical that it would be warm or cosy enough, but having used it for a month I can honestly say it is fabulous on both counts!

Fantastic Customer Service; probably the best I've experienced from any company, ever! Several years after making a purchase, Penrose still had records of the exact bedding we bought and were able to assist me with my enquiries and requests. Since buying from Penrose, we only ever purchase Alpaca bedding as it is without doubt the best bedding we have ever owned; everyone loves it. Thank you Penrose.

"Purchased two pillows and couldn’t…"

Purchased two pillows and couldn’t believe how comfortable they were, so ordered two more. They don’t smell as some pillows do and I’m not allergic to them as I was with feather pillows. Since receiving my pillows I’ve had the best nights sleep that I’ve had in a long time. Thank you Penrose for a great product and fantastic service. I am now looking to buy a duvet as well.

If I could give 6 stars I would.
A while after purchasing my duvet, I realised it was the wrong size. Despite the huge delay in me reporting this to Penrose, they went over and above the call of duty and kindly rectified the issue and got me the right size sent out. The customer service is excellent and I felt supported and helped by Penrose. Den is very professional and friendly and I would definitely buy from Penrose again. Thanks team.
The actual duvets are amazing, I suffered for years with night sweats and since using Penrose alpaca duvet and pillows, I barely break a sweat, even during the summer. A+++

Amazing customer service, I had my bedding custom made to the exact sizes I wanted with no hassle at all, not many companies can (or will) make a pillow to a custom size and fill without adding on £££ but Penrose were only too happy to help.
