"highly recommenced"
Lidget Compton did a great job on our new garage in late 2017. Through planning, ground clearance, delivery and installation, everyone was very helpful and things ran extremely smoothly. There was even a follow-up visit to iron out a couple of very minor wrinkles that we were completely unaware of. Good communications and cooperation throughout. Excellent quality work and materials. Highly recommended.

"Very good service"
Very good service. Fast delivery, good quality
The new garage was delivered and installed promptly and efficiently by a great set of lads. Top job, couldn’t find a cheaper price either, the garage looks great. Office staff were very easy to deal with. Would highly recommend.

"Excellent garage !"
Excellent , 100% recommended . A lovely secure garage put up in just a few hours. Great team just worked non stop to get it together. Really super quality and waterproof. The roll doors work really well, easy to open and lock securely. Great finish , wish we had space for another one !

"VERY DISAPPOINTING, LEAKY ROOF"
Ordered a gargae on 14th July.
Order confirmation showed lots of mistakes, wrong colour, wrong door etc which I had to get resolved.
After several delays installation finally took place on the 1st October.
They left it up to the installer to tell me that the ridge tiles were not the colour I had ordered but just plain grey.
Just got home after working away all week and the inside of the garage is soaking due to rain leaking in through cracks in the roofing panels. I did think it was strange to see the installer walking along the roof when it is made of such flimsy material, well it appears he managed to crack most of the roofing panels.
Just sent them pictures so I await to see what their customer service is like. Not happy at all.

"In the end I purchased a garage"
In the end I purchased a garage. Left with a roof poorly attached. Rafters not attached correctly and the bare minimum of fixings holding roof sheets on. Side door that rubs on the frame. I even have wood buried in the internal fillet and some sort of squishy stuff in one of the wall panels.
I gave Compton the opportunity to fix and was advised of a timescale for which they didn't attend and had the reply from the manager that it was an oversight on their part.
When I phoned and spoke to customer support one team in the department doesn't know what the other is doing and told that you need to speak to the manager. My comment was, so what happens if he dies? She took offence to that, and blew it out if context with an Oscar winning performance. I did call her a stupid bit$h. Next thing is manager is on the phone wanting an argument.
I have attached the roof and adjusted the door. Cannot do anything about the dodgy sqidgy filler in the wall panel.
As a reader of this take what you want from it. I may have been abusive but justified towards a company that once has your money, doesn't really care. A customer service team that is way past there sell by date and needs to modernise

"May review the two stars given"
May review the two stars given if a representative comes out and puts it right.
I paid a lot of money for a concrete shed and base. Very unhappy with the construction , I was promised a rat proof and weather proof shed and do not expect to see daylight through the ill fitting panels.
It was constructed in very little time and the team left before I could inspect. I also think that Lidgets agent from who I bought the shed should be part responsible too.

"OK, but better communication and care needed."
I purchased one of their precast concrete garages, through an agent. Communicating with Lidget Compton can be frustratingly slow, most things being handled by post, despite this being the 21st Century. Being self employed, I need a delivery date fairly quickly, not six days beforehand with a vague "w/c" until then. Keeping a whole week open is not an option.
The garage was delivered and erected without issue. The garage was literally thrown up, taking 3.5 hours to build and in some places, the lack of care shows. But it looks reasonable enough and is dry. Would I recommend, probably, but look around for an equally priced competitor and see what their reviews are like first.

"Really struggled with Lidget for my…"
Really struggled with Lidget for my garage.
Firstly they let me down three times on delivery.
Then the garage wasn't finished well, and waited days for anyone to do it properly.
Now door doesn't lock properly, and they just will not call back. I've never had one proactive call off them, it's always me chasing.
The people that answer the phone are really surly, like they're doing you a favour.
