"False area advertising"

I recently looked up local companies able to take away our old fridge and Rubbish-Taxi.com came up with a page offering services for our area (Shrewsbury, Shropshire)(rubbish-taxi.com/ shrewsbury/mattress-fridge-rubbish-collection-disposal), with headings saying "Here to Help Clear-out Your Offices in Shrewsbury" & "From 9p a Kilo in Shrewsbury", yet on looking more closely at their website, they only operate in the London area, 150+ miles away!

Why advertise to do a job in my area if they don't operate in the area?

We have been using the rubbish taxi for all of our waste collections for about 3 years now.

During this time without exception they have been reliable, professional, friendly, and hard working. Plus to top it all off they are far cheaper than most companies out there.

I will continue to use rubbish taxi for our waste collections for many years to come and if you need waste taken away no need to look any further. I have tried many other waste disposal companies before finding the rubbish taxi so believe me when I say these guys are the best around.

"I Can't Recommend this Company"

I can't really recommend this company. We were overcharged beyond our quote for the removal of two kingsized box springs and one king sized mattress. Their calculation of one king sized box spring (the type that splits into two smaller halves and one mattress is considered 2 beds. So we were charged for the removal of 4 beds, just a warning if you have two of these types of beds for collection. Despite paying for the removal of what they called 4 beds, they refused to take the second king sized mattress which would equate to a full 2 beds being removed. Instead they charged us for 4 and didn't even remove everything. While they took the mattresses, we were overcharged based on how long it took him to get them to the van because rather than pulling up behind our apartment complex, he parked on the street. Their poor planning and understanding of our original request ended up costing us.

Yet another first-class, no-nonsense service provided by Rubbish Taxi. Operatives were polite, friendly and clearly happy to be providing the service I have been equally pleased at receiving.

Costs are cheap yet what you're paying for makes this company ahead of their competitors and shame-faces those who have expected over twice as much to remove exactly the same items.

We used Rubbish Taxi to clear up after a film shoot we did.

We booked them at 1pm and they showed up at 2.30pm.

The driver was friendly and helpful and loaded our rubbish, over a ton, himself.

The price was very reasonable and we look forward to using Rubbish Taxi as a regular provider of waste removal.
