"Long time user of Office Timeline says "Must Have""

Long time user of Office Timeline (since 2015) and I feel this product is best-of-breed and a "must have" for any project manager who presents to Leadership.

Ordering and installing the software was a breeze.
The software itself is extremely useful for visualizing timelines, and usability and feature set just keep getting better. Five stars!

"A must-have for making your PowerPoint presentations attractive"

OfficeTimeline allows you to create very intuitive, very visual timelines. The tool allows great flexibility in creation and editing and integrates perfectly into Microsoft PowerPoint.
Many options allow you to personalize each component (date, milestones, tasks, swimlanes, etc.).
Recently, it has also been possible to manage a critical path or link tasks, which makes the visual even more interesting.
In short, a must-have in your toolbox!

Its overpriced. IF you pay for the top tier product, then all should be included.

"Please make the license subscriptions…"

Please make the license subscriptions for accounts like ours a bit easier to manage. It would be very nice to always have the list of assigned users accessible. Right now, it is impossible to determine who has an active license assigned without reaching out to support to have the question answered.

It's 2024, so this is just expected functionality when the customer self-manages their licenses. When is that update to the portal going to be released?

"Great Tool to Rapidly Build Timelines for Various Audiences"

The Office Timeline team continues to build out their capabilities each year with regard to what proj mgmt tools I can connect to and also the functionality offered as I build out timelines in Powerpoint. Really like this product and the flexibility it offer to me to have a very detailed plan assembled in my proj mgmt tool of choice, but be able to pick and choose what timeline I present based on the audience I need to update.

This tool is great for creating views on your Project Plans in PowerPoint. From high level Sr. Leadership overviews to individual work stream detailed Gantts.

It could use a few minor tweaks that would make it 5+ stars. Little things like ultra short date format "mm'yy" or "qq'yy" useful when real estate is tight. Also the timeline display is very odd, skipping months/quarters when there is plenty of room to display and doesn't include line dividers for all of the months/ quarters.

There is nothing else out there like this tool!

"Saving template no longer available with Pro+"

I updated the Office Timeline software as part of my license renewal in August 2024. The feature to save my format to a template is no longer available. I found this feature very useful to share format across teams for consistent look, and am disappointed that it went away.

"I don't like the colors in "edit data"…"

I don't like the colors in "edit data" don't match the color in style pane. I have to reselect the color in style pane after I edited the data. I don't like that there's no calendar days option for duration, it only offers business days.
